"I'm not going to tell anybody, but honestly if you get to know some pretty secret stuff about everyone else, they should be able to know it about you. Also, here you go Verdin, have a look," Geff said, handing the cards over the him.

Now, if you'll excuse me then I believe I've got something to do before we get there." Trylle stalked off, searching for someplace to hunt. Her threat should be enough to keep Geff in line while she was gone.

She's already gone.

Trylle's eyes had darkened substantially. She needed to feed so she could be around those humans. Given that there wasn't a forest, though, she was unlikely to find anything close enough to what she liked. She sped up, running and smelling for a trace of a carnivore.

Eventually Trylle found a field filled with cows, presumably owned by the people here. She figured they couldn't miss one much, and she could leave payment for it.
