Kuno chuckled to himself for a short moment. "Strange how?"

"Well, strange may not be the right word... but the way you maneuvered him was something alright"

"I see, now tell me about my friend Ewald, what did you see?"

Vivace looked around, her curiosity piqued. You should come see this, she said silently.

No, came the resolute answer.

At least she had tried.

Pior stumbled towards Vivace and grabbed to her shoulder for support as he remained hunched over, looking as if he were about the puke again. "Quite the sight," Pior gagged, "isn't it?"

Vivace stepped back, slightly disgusted. "Yes, quite the sight."

Ahead of them was a large grassy plain, but the grass wasn't the right color. It was a deep, aquamarine-like blue. On this plain, a small village sat tucked between two hills.

Pior straightened himself, "well, no need to stay here any longer than we have to. Let's get this over with."

"Let me do the talking, okay?"

Pior looked as if he were trying to be sarcastically offended. "What? You trying to avoid what happened last time?"

Vivace sighed. "Let's just go, all right?"

Aerith led the way down the hill, cautiousy munching on a red crystal in case things turned ugly.

Vivace pulled out a white crystal as well. It was smart, especially since Aerith was doing it. You sure you're not going to come see this?

Yes.

Pior followed behind, taking up the back of the group. He walked casually and simply looked around, appearing disinterested.

"Just a warning, Vivace: these people do enjoy lynching amals."

Vivace grimaced, but took on an entirely human look. "There. They won't even suspect me with my eyes."

"Don't worry too much--I have a plan to keep you safe--but be cautious."

"Cautious. All right. So... no Chorale?"

Chorale cheered unenthusiastically. You'll finally leave me alone.

Aerith chuckled, then waved his arms as he approached the town.

"Hoy there!" He called. "It's us again!"

The townsfolk instantly formed into mobs, wielding pitchforks and torches like it was nobody's business.

"They're very good at what they do," Aerith whispered to Vivace.
