Melody grabbed the s'mores stuff and headed back out of the city to the place where she and Ellis had fought.

Gerald followed, fiddling curiously with the mechanical arm.

Melody laughed. "This is true."

At that moment, there was a satisfying click as the arm slotted onto Gerald.

"Aha!" exclaimed Gerald. "I did... something!"

That's like trying to convince people that your name is the letter Q," he took a moment to look at Q. "If that's what their parents named them then I'm deeply concerned for their mental health. Now, I never said I would do anything to them, I'm a busy man, my wares won't sell themselves you know." Peregrino noticed Ellis.

Q chuckled, giving a genuine smile. "It was a problem on my part for letting them name me like that," she said, following Peregrino's gaze. Her smile faded. "You've found a tent?" she asked Ellis.

"Do you really want that as your arm? No judgement if you do."

"Depends," said Gerald. "If it starts- say, strangling me in my sleep, I'd obviously want it removed. But I've seen the Doctor do some rather remarkable things with his arms that could come in handy if I could figure out how to do them myself."
