"Alright!" said Gerald.

All of a sudden, the arm shot out, extending forwards to wrap around a tree twenty feet away. Gerald yelped as he was yanked forwards, landing with a thunk into the tree.

"So that's what that does," he called back.

Gerald unhooked the arm and pointed it at a different tree. Then another. There were plenty of grunts of pain as he crashed into tree after tree, but eventually he began to get the hang of it.

With one final shot, he pulled himself back to where Melody was standing. "That was pretty cool," he enthused. "I wonder what else it can do?"

"I saw him stick stuff in here sometimes. Way more than should be able to fit. So it probably has extradimensional storage in it somewhere..."

Gerald retracted it, pulling it back on itself until it was only a ring of metal.

"Guess so," he replied. "And looks like it definitely has interdimensional storage, as well."

Gerald picked up a rock with one of his tentacles and tried pushing it into the arm. "Well, again, storage... if I can figure out how it works."

"Yeah, 'Peregrino,'" Q said, turning towards the man. "I'm going to pay for my own tent. How much would that be?"

@The Ward's Guard gosh dang it, it won't let me mention him.

"I'll mark off a favor if you'd like. Although you gotta promise me that you won't go and make me owe you any more favors; they're bad business sense."

@The Ward's Guard Here you go, Mystic.

"Storage, lengthening and shortening, grip strength," Melody listed. "Sounds like a pretty sweet deal."

"I've also seen him change its shape," said Gerald. "Although I suppose that might just be a more controlled form of-"

He was interrupted by a soft pop as the rock disappeared from his hand.

"Aha!" he said triumphantly.

Gerald wiggled the arm. Out popped the skeleton of an anaconda, thirty five cents in pennies and dimes, something with an ominous painted skull on it, and a bucket of saltwater.

"I have the money." To prove her point, Q fished out a good wad of cash from her pocket. "If you don't want me to pay," she said, waving the cash in front of his face. "I cannot. I don't think that this money works in this world anyways, if that's what you're looking for."

"Yeah, yeah. That's the last thing I want to do right now." She stuffed the wad of foreign cash back in her pocket. "So I guess this time, I owe ya one," she said, rolling her eyes.
