Uhmmm...I'm assuming there's a "like" somewhere in there. If so, I'm sorry but I have to disagree. I really like his prose. Even if it isn't exactly award-winning, it's functional and straightforward. Poetic prose has merits, but the simple language Sanderson uses is accessible and easy on the brain.

...No not really. My dad is an archeologist for the National Park Service, though, which is neat. I did an excavation with him last summer. (He used to be a Biblical Archeologist, which in some ways is arguably cooler.)

It is an objective fact that the imperial system sucks. I loathe it with every fiber of my being, but us stupid Americans refuse to switch to the obviously superior system of measurement!!
