“We’re not out of the woods yet,” Radriac whispers, “He’s directly below us! Cmon, let’s see if we can get over to another rooftop. But be quiet!”

Radriarc walked over to the other side of the roof, carefully avoiding the skylights so he wasn't seen. The building next to the old church, some sort of apartment building, was too tall to get on the roof, but Radriac finds an unlocked window.

“Cmon let’s go! I hope they aren’t home.”

Venten followed making sure the girl

We really need to get names to characters this is hard.

Wasn't panicking too much,

"Quickly now."

"Why are we going back down where that guy is?" Miera whispers

"...... Good point. After three months I should be good at this."

We should try to connect with the main thread, that way newbies can start in this thread and move on over if they wish. Or they could make the smart choice and stick with us, because we're obviously the fun ones.

Kacen looked at the open window."I could bother taking the five minutes that it's gonna take to find them." He stared at the open door way, then turned and walked out. "Or I could make the obvious choice, and lure them into a false sense of security." He walked up onto the roof, dropped a coin, and shot off into the night. "I imagine the folks at HQ will be quite interested in all this."

The young man followed Venten, not knowing what he should do. "So you're Venten?"

"Yes, and you?"

Venten turns to the girl, "I don't think I got your name either."

He...can’t see the window. It’s like a 3rd story window in a different building above the church. He didn’t even see us get on the roof.

He has A-steel, and Venten has empty bracers.

Ah, but fish didn’t say that, did he. it’s not even confirmed kacen has A-steel, although it’s obvious he does. implied actions are non-actions.

"I don't know Miera, I've never seen him before, and I hope never to again."

Venten rubbed his eyes,

"Who wants first watch?"

If anyone wants to join and is looking for an opening, nows a good time. You could be a native Scadrian and the apartment we're in belongs to you. You come home to find a group of strangers camping out in your house. Just an idea.

Radriarc tried to fall asleep, but the events of the day kept rushing through his head.

How did I end up in this situation? I’m not even supposed to be here! I justified it to myself because I was sure I could stay under the radar, and now I’m being hunted by not one; but two evil organizations. Although, it does seem that whenever Venten’s old friends show up, Red Dude appears out of nowhere and immediately takes them out, so, maybe they aren’t that much of a problem. Should I just leave? Red Dude isn’t after me, he’s after Venten. Venten’s friends might try to hunt me down, they probably still think we killed those original four pursuers, but maybe they’re more focused on Venten. I don’t know if I can afford to take any more risks than I already did by coming here. So that leaves the question, which is riskier, stay in the larger, safer group, but risk being hunted by Venten’s Friends and Red Dude, or leave, go back out on my own, and risk just Venten’s Friends? If I’m being honest with myself, Red Dude doesn’t seem all that dangerous, at least, not dangerous to me. Venten’s Friends however......they have Shardblades. I think I’d better stay with the group, but those synthetic Shardblades....I can’t let those become mass produced. If I get the opportunity, I’m going to destroy them all, and destroy the plans for making them. I know what weapons like that can do, and I won’t let it happen again.

Glad that he was able to make a decision, Radriarc walked over to Miera. “Hey, it’s late, you get some rest. I’ll take over watch.”

Ammon lies down and closes his eyes, but the bloodied bodies keep flashing behind his eyes. He shudders slightly and sits up with his back to the wall.
