"Are you guys planning on saving her?"

"I, I don't know how we could, Harmony's Perpendicularity is too far away, I don't have the reasorses to open one myself. I just don't know how we could." He finished miserably.

Chris furrowed his brow. "I... don't really know how to... make you feel better. I might be able to open a Perpendicularity, though."

Venten sat up, "You could? How? Please, anything could help!"

Noche bit her lip. It was something she had seen a woman do while she was deliberating over her groceries. It kind of hurt, so she stopped. Should she step out and reveal herself? If they were leaving, she'd want to stay with them, but maybe it would be better if they didn't know she was there. Or she could wait and see if any of them remembered her, and follow behind them if they didn't. She looked over at Alba, who kind of bobbed her head. That was that, then. She'd wait and see, then follow them quietly if they didn't think of her.

"Back at my place... I haven't tested it yet."

"Well, does it work on the same principles as Oathgates or is it more akin to a perpendicularity?"

"More like a perpendicularity."

"Well, let's see it, this could be exactly what we need." Venten asked with excitment.

"I have an entrance to my 'lair' not far from here. I haven't fired up the portal in awhile, though, so... we'll see what happens."

Luz looked concerned. "Well, I certainly hope you're not still planning on going with them - You are? Why in the name of Patji would you - " He cut off when he noticed Noche shrinking back as if scared. "Hey, hey," he reassured, coming nearer. "I promise, I'll never hurt you. Actually, maybe it's best if you do stay with this group. Father won't notice and won't care if he does."

Noche looked up at him, tears glistening in her eyes. "You think so?" she whispered.

"Yes. It'll be good for you," Luz said encouragingly.

She smiled tearfully and leaned back against the wall, looking back toward the other people.

Luz settled next to her, careful not to touch her. "It'll be all right. You'll see."

Philico liked the sound of 'perpendicularity'. Plus, anything that could speed this mission along was fantastic. "Absolutely."

I think I'm going to have to formally drop out of this. Temporarily. I do definitely still want to do this RP, but with it being finals and all I'm not sure I can. I'll try to join back sometime in January (woooo 2020 is almost OVER!)
Just assume Radriarc came up with a valid reason for leaving, and then he did.

Man, I'm massacring this character with my real-world issues. Radriarc's whole arc so far has been deciding that he needs to come back, and now I'm having him immediately leave again. rip.

It does give an opportunity for me to fix some loopholes in his backstory, now I can say that these certain secret events took place in this time gap, which fixes a lot of the timeline issues I was having.
