aneonfoxtribute Posted December 11, 2021 Author Posted December 11, 2021 The conversation between Grandal and Sammael was a tad confusing

Dunkum he/him Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 also the part where Egwene independently re-invents Travelling. though that does sort of fall to the wayside given what happens after, yea.
aneonfoxtribute Posted December 27, 2021 Author Posted December 27, 2021 Perrin! He's back! He's finally finally back!
aneonfoxtribute Posted December 27, 2021 Author Posted December 27, 2021 Finishing the book today. Rand has been captured by the Aes Sedai in Cairhein and Perrin is mounting a rescue.
aneonfoxtribute Posted December 27, 2021 Author Posted December 27, 2021 The unstained tower breaks and bends knee to the forgotten sign. The seas rage, and stormclouds gather unseen. Beyond the horizon, hidden fires swell, and serpents nestle in the bosom. What was exalted is cast down; what was cast down is raised up. Order burns to clear his path. The end of the sixth book of The Wheel of Time 1

chongjasmine Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 I like the part where she healed Logain. I think it is one of the better scene.
aneonfoxtribute Posted January 20, 2022 Author Posted January 20, 2022 I got Crown of Swords btw. Probably won't read it until after I finish Jade Bone Saga though
Mulk he/him Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 Dumai's Wells is an amazing scene. One of the best in the whole series. 1
aneonfoxtribute Posted June 6, 2022 Author Posted June 6, 2022 Alright, I finished Cytonic. Now, for real, I shall read Crown of Swords.
aneonfoxtribute Posted June 8, 2022 Author Posted June 8, 2022 Finished the prologue. Probably one of the better prologues in the series, certainly one of the easiest. The only real thing I have to comment on though is Niall. God damn he's dead, I didn't expect that. And killed after learning about a threat bigger than Rand. What in the hell. 1

aneonfoxtribute Posted June 8, 2022 Author Posted June 8, 2022 I figured there'd be an important plot reason for why he died now. You don't just kill off someone who up to this point has been a major antagonist for no reason, without a confrontation with a main character, if you don't have a plan.
aneonfoxtribute Posted June 14, 2022 Author Posted June 14, 2022 Finished Chapter 5 I love how Rand is clearly hesitating to have a woman executed, and that's his primary reason, but the punishment for Colavaere is such that she would probably rather be dead. The most satisfying way to punish someone so high and mighty is to force them into commoner life 1
aneonfoxtribute Posted June 30, 2022 Author Posted June 30, 2022 I'm still reading regularly, just haven't had anything to say 1
aneonfoxtribute Posted July 2, 2022 Author Posted July 2, 2022 Egwene is confronting sussy people, and Lan is back and going to Nynaeve. Exciting things
aneonfoxtribute Posted August 19, 2022 Author Posted August 19, 2022 I read some more that I just didn't talk about. Did some Aviendha viewpoint stuff, went to Mat, saw that Carridin was Sammael's man (did we know this? I don't remember this but I could have forgotten), then went back to Mat. Might put the book on hold if I'm not done by the end of the month. Maybe the end of September. I want to reread Era 2 before The Lost Metal.
aneonfoxtribute Posted September 13, 2022 Author Posted September 13, 2022 Oh joy of joys. The God damn Seanchan are back. On the bright side, they're killing Whitecloaks, a cause I can agree with. On the other, they're Seanchan
