The concept of a high school sweetheart logically makes sense (saw my sibling go through it), but also it is something I never got to - and am glad I didn’t - experience. Comes with the territory of graduating before legally getting driving permit.

But yeah it do be difficult to keep relationship when peoples life abruptly shoot in different directions, romantic or otherwise.
