The music is great and it's super funny. If you want a humor based musical try Trail to Oregon. It's probably the funniest they have made. The best music is probably Twisted, which is an Aladdin parody from Jafar's viewpoint. I love all of their stuff, but it's definitely a mature audience type of thing.

Wicked is a phenomenal musical, though, which is why it's so popular. (Popular like the song get it?) I'm also not recommending shows that other people recommend on this topic, I don't really want to have a bunch of repeats.
