September 10-Day Eight Recommendation: Aladdin! Also coming soon to Disney+! Yes, it is different from the movie. The best song that was added is "Proud of Your Boy," which is super sad and sweet and ahdifalejfjdgetjlk!

Now I just need to wait for Disney+. <_<

If you don’t mind some cussing I love the Starkid musicals. One of my favorites is The Guy Who Doesn’t Like Musicals. The music is great and it's super funny. If you want a humor based musical try Trail to Oregon. It's probably the funniest they have made. The best music is probably Twisted, which is an Aladdin parody from Jafar's viewpoint. I love all of their stuff, but it's definitely a mature audience type of thing.

You should add Wicked to your list. It's my favorite musical.

I'm mostly trying to restrict the list to lesser-known musicals, which I mentioned when I recommended Hamilton against my better judgement. Wicked is a phenomenal musical, though, which is why it's so popular. (Popular like the song get it?:D) I'm also not recommending shows that other people recommend on this topic, I don't really want to have a bunch of repeats. I've seen a live professional performance of Wicked, with Galinda played by Kara Lindsay, the original Katherine Plumber from Newsies on Broadway, so that was really cool!

I've heard of the Starkid musicals, I think specifically The Guy Who Doesn't Like Musicals. I want to check them out, but I've never had the time.

They are great. The latest, Black Friday, should probably be watched after TGWDLM for reasons.

Wait I saw Wicked with Kara Lindsay too. In SLC a few years ago?

It's really good.

I acted in Fiddler on the Roof, the Broadway one isn't my favorite but I love the music.

She Loves Me is a great musical and I'm totally not recommending it just cos I acted in a high school production of it. But really, it's very good.

DANG IT FF, THAT WAS GOING TO BE ONE OF MY NEXT RECOMMENDATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW I CAN'T USE IT. :(

It is PURE BEAUTY and adorableness.

What were you in the production?
