It is going to leave Craven's head, right? Quote It will, yes, but currently it is feeling sympathetic. This character is supposed to be different, and because of that I have thus far written it as being mostly emotionally and instinctually driven, with only a little bit of conscious decision. Because of the sympathy, and the curiosity, it wants to help Craven, but probably doesn't realize that breaking its Connection would help the most. Edited April 27, 2021 by EchoOfThePlanes

He realized that they probably had already left, and in fear ran outside. The motion made his head hurt a bit more. To his relief, they were still there. He approached Martin and addressed him. "I'm ready now." he said. "My head feels a bit better."

However, this curiosity is streaked with anxiety. It does not know what to do in the face of human senses. It begins to backtrack, but finds itself faced with Craven's memories. It does not know how to read them properly, and its anxiety grows stronger, so Remembrance begins to push through Craven's memories. (This action gives Remembrance an impression of Craven's race. People! New people! Humans? Humans are very new to Remembrance!) It is too much for Remembrance. It slithers its way out of Craven's memories, and pulls away from his cognitive light. There is a sharp tearing, and suddenly the Connection between it and Craven snaps, leaving Remembrance back in that strange place of beads and dark-rock-glass.
Channelknight Fadran Posted April 27, 2021 Author Posted April 27, 2021 Quote Day two would be right now.
