The clipped response that Jefferey may have thought to be cold barbs or some kind of angry response that would instill some kind of fear in me makes the slightest amount of dark mirth bubble up within me. However, there are risks involved."

We were cautious in giving so much power to the ancient ones so we built in back doors. They were subtle to be sure though it is possible that they were found and sealed. The second method is truly dangerous. It involves harvesting the power of a primordial mindscape and using it as a single concentrated attack to shatter the defenses of the mindscape that one wishes to breach."
