"Ayia's over there."  Martin points towards her.  "She and Fadran were training."

Decrin continued to say nothing, only continued to walk. Eventually, the pair came to a stop at a large rock.

"I got him," whispered Decrin to the figure hiding behind the rock.

"Good," replied Jeffery grimly. "Let's get back. I'm sure the Fellowship will be quite interested to hear of these events."

When we stopped our trek before a weathered boulder I issued a command to the wind which sets off the slightest of breezes. All voices that are close by the wind does grab and into my ears carry their messages. I hear Jeffery's words and yet I cannot stir emotions. All passion is dulled and when I have the winds make my words known to Jeffery alone they are truly neutral in nature. "What is your game? Do you think that I owe you some debt? Perhaps you seek to force my hand to act. You are still playing games whose stakes you have no comprehension of. Tell the Fellowship what happened here and who knows maybe they will send me into exile. If your goal is to shame me into doing your will then I am afraid you have wasted your time." The breeze abruptly dies and I push my emotions further down into the void.

I've been meaning to ask about that. How does it feel again?

Herate inclined her head. That was mordite, she was certain.

Shadow covered the lump as Psyder sent it to a safe warp drop.

"Shut up," says Jeffery coldly.

Shadow whirls around the group as Decrin returns them to the camp.

@Channelknight Fadran, can we set up a meeting between them?

"Why are you here?" Vapor asked.

"I... don't know," replied James. "Fate brought me here, I'm certain. I think it has something to do with you. And maybe... maybe also something about my past."

I say nothing at all as we are transported . The clipped response that Jefferey may have thought to be cold barbs or some kind of angry response that would instill some kind of fear in me makes the slightest amount of dark mirth bubble up within me. Was I ever that self righteous? Yes, I remember it well. Let us see what becomes of his righteous indignation. My face is a mask of pure neutrality.

Okay. How's about this?

Herate felt a sudden pang run through her abdomen, sharp as anything she'd encountered. She dropped to her knees and clenched her arms around herself, pulling harder and harder to help the pain.

"Well... Ayia's started up an elite team to punch a hole in Wyrn's defenses, and we're collecting volunteers to go find Vapor--which reminds me," he leaned in a little closer and lowered his voice, "we need to get into a Mindscape. How exactly does one do that?"

The winds obscure our voices at my command. "That is not an easy task. In theory there are two methods that certain mindscapes could be broken into. However, there are risks involved."

"The safest method of accessing a mindscape where there is no option of trying to trick the mindscape is by trying to use the hidden backdoors that my wife and I built into certain primordial mindscapes. We were cautious in giving so much power to the ancient ones so we built in back doors. They were subtle to be sure though it is possible that they were found and sealed. The second method is truly dangerous. It involves harvesting the power of a primordial mindscape and using it as a single concentrated attack to shatter the defenses of the mindscape that one wishes to breach."

Jefferey will have to wait on that Nath is making it so that only he and Fadran can hear what they are saying.

He can tell they're talking, right? Plus he heard what Fadran said at first. Or did Nath make it so that Fadran can't hear what Jeffery's saying?
