I have a bunch of cesium in storage, and I'm pretty sure that it somehow got teleported onto the shore. I think it was a portal malfunction, but it could have been some sort of tear in spacetime." "That sounds... safe."

"I've done the math, and the chances of a tear in spacetime randomly occurring are less than a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a billionth of a percent. Not zero, but basically zero. Anyway, We should get my sword." Enter walked to the back of the security room, moved one of the computers aside, and switched two wires. The back wall shook and sunk down, revealing a single sword with a blade of shining steel and a hilt of pure gold. A voice spoke into the minds of everyone present: Hello! You all must be Enter's new friends!

Bearer of all agonies he/him Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 (edited) Taln picks up a vase on a pedastal and peers into it. And then he dropped it. Smash! ". . . Oops. Wasn't me." Taln tries to hide behind a pillar, but he was so big that it didn't do much to hide him. It was like a patato trying to hide behind a straw. Edited October 20, 2020 by Bearer of all agonies

Though it is hard to say what we will do." I turn toward Fadran ignoring the newcomers. "I think it is best if I stay here to guard the boat. My injuries will hinder a quick attack and escape. I cannot speak for Fox though I also think that she might be best served by staying away from the front lines while she recovers." @Channelknight Fadran Fox came out of the mindscape as she felt Nath... or... Father leave. As the haze cleared she could make out what he was saying. "I... yes, I think that would be best." She hated that she couldn't help, but, she was pretty sure she wouldn't be much of a benefit at this point. Fox turned her attention back to father. It seemed so natural to call him that in her mind, yet at the same time, so foreign. "I... do you know why Winter killed my brother?" She asked, but turned her stare to the water with pain filled eyes, her voice dripping with agony.

This will be painful for her, but I will keep no secrets from her. "I believe that I do daughter." I close my eyes as tears fall. Her pain stabs me. Though when I call her daughter my voice filed with love and pride. "He tried to harm you I believe. Winter had kidnapped you. Your brother at that point was a mental demon. Winter destroyed him for interfering with his plans for you." The memory brings iron to my voice. Ice fills my blood. "I came for you. I was too slow to stop him from taking you, but I came and faced demons of my own." I find the words jagged as they rip at my throat. I try to send love toward her, but I fear that I am failing. Cicestran watches. She reaches out to Nath, but is held back. Instead she places her arm on Fox's shoulder in an attempt to comfort her.

Fox asked in shock and anger. "No, no it couldn't be." But as she spoke, she knew she didn't believe it. It made sense, that was why he had hurt her, that was why... oh storms it all made sense. No, she loved her brother, didn't she? "It, it couldn't be!" She insisted. She didn't want it to be true, it couldn't be true!
Truthless of Shinovar he/him Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 Velles, who had been silently following the group, paused to take in his surroundings. A complicated, almost whimsical, laboratory surrounded him. The man named Enter seemed to be giving them a tour of all things. I thought we were supposed to be storming the castle... Oh well. Observe and adapt. That’s how you survived. While others were conversing with the telepathic sword, Velles crouched down and let his arm brush the metal floor below him. Concrete had seemed to work before. Would metal? Velles concentrated, and felt a small pop. He looked at his arm, surprised to see that it was, in fact, now made out of the same material as the floor. He let out a satisfied grunt. He turned to Wrendren, who just finished putting something in a pocket. A piece of that broken vase? “So...” Velles said. “This place. Not the lab. The world. Do you know where this is exactly?” @Kings_way Quote Also holy storms you guys post quick. I’ll try to keep up and post less infrequently! 1

He shouldn't be..." Enter looked at the sword. "Are you using illusions?" Yeah! I just learned how a few days ago! Isn't that exciting? "Well, it is, but why are you making yourself look like Nightblood?" Because I want to. "Stop acting like a two-year-old." I am a sword, and swords aren't very intelligent. "You're an exception for reasons we both know." Fine. He looked like a regular sword again.
