When Fadran brought the steaming bowls of soup into the medbay, Fox's stomach grumbled, she hadn't realized how hungry she had been. Her hand became a whirlwind, spoon flying and soup nicely making its way home, it was deliciously perfect. When she could no longer use a spoon, she took to licking out the insides. There would be no drop left behind, in fact, even though she had eaten the bowl of soup in something like ten seconds, Fox did not leave a mess, there was not a single drop of soup on the ground or on her face. She was an expert in this kind of thing.

I want all to be well for her and yet I fear there is a long way to go before we are there. Together we make our way into the med-bay. I let go of Fox's hand when I reach a bed. I gingerly sit and then lay back in the bed. A smile finds it's way to my face as I watch devour her food as though she has not a care in the world. When she finished I allowed myself to sit up slightly. A twinge of discomfort touches my eyes, but never settles on my face. I sigh. "Fox. I... Well... I... Blighted Bronze." The curse slides from my lips. I shake my head and take a deep breath. "Fox, you likely have so many question. I'm tired of my secrets. Ask what you will. I will hold nothing back from you. I have only one question. Are you alright? You remembered what happened and that cannot be easy. If the demons are back Fox...." I trail off unable to continue the tears return.

How could she possibly put into words the storm of shame and anger and guilt that poured down on her in sheets of hail and sleet, stinging her skin and opening cuts on her face, preventing her from completing her trek? She couldn't. "I'm doing as well as can be expected," she responded ambiguously. "The demons..." she glanced at Circe for a moment, and then returned her attention to Nath. "No, I don't... think they've returned. At least, this one seems to be... different." Fox wasn't sure if she should tell Nath everything about this, she didn't want to hurt him any further... but last time she tried to hide something from him in order not to hurt him, things did not go very well. What was she to do?

I sigh while the tears fall. A smile forces its way onto my face. "Fox....." I force myself to take a deep breath. My body steadies itself. The twinges of pain go ignored. "Fox that is all that I want for you. For as long as I have existed there have only been a few with whom I felt a connection. So few have I truly loved that when I lost the love of my long life. I thought that I was lost. Then you came along and I remembered how. You truly are the closest thing to a child that I have ever had." Hot tears pour forth. "I consider you to be a daughter even though in truth we have known each other for the blink of an eye. If you truly are well then all is well. If this demon is different then may it keep you as safe as I hope to." I look over to where Fox had looked, but see nothing.

Rish smiles genuine joy reflecting outward. "You have healed this realm and taken the first step to true power." She frowns as she sees Vapor's wounds. In the blink of an eye she appears beside Vapor. She mutters a few words. "That should heal your injuries. You have done well this day. All worlds have found in you a restorer of balance. You should be proud of yourself." She pauses for a moment. "I name you equal to mine own children for what you have done. I cannot raise you to divinity. However, I shall personally petition my grandparents Sorcery and Magics to make it so. Furthermore, should you wish it this realm can be your home. All places within this mindscape are yours to explore. Welcome home."

Vapor smiles. "Thank you. I've never had a real home before, I think." She furrows her brow. "I can't quite remember. I can't remember anything except here. Do you know what I should remember?"

If you seek to return to way things were you will be unable to save us all."  A sphere appears in the air. All that once was was copied to this reality should you desire to have what you gave up. The ship approached a building - except the word building didn't do it justice. Neither did the word base. This was a fortress. With imposing walls made of some dark grey metal and towers made of something silvery-looking, the entire thing screamed attacking is futile.
