Kindness trails after Fadran.

"Well, do you know what it can do?  What are the limits?"

"The only thing I know it can do is let me write with my mind, but I can tell that there's a lot more, too. I can feel that each part of my brain has a different use, but no matter what I do, I can't tell what it is. This is going to take some experimentation."

"Hey, guys, I somehow have some sort of magic and I have no idea how it works but it might be able to do something if someone wants to help me figure it out."

"Magic? I thought that was just  for The Holed, no one else"

"No, many of these guys have powers. If you remember, Baalhan used them to kill the holed, and he is literally a god."

"Well, yeah, I guess. But how did you use that? The Holed have all the magic in the world!"

"We're all from a different world."

Fadran finger-gun-points at Queen.

Wait why?

"A different world... amazing!"

Under your name, it literally says "A very lost worldhopper" and it seems like you are acting as yourself, soo...?

It's the "she got it" point. The one where you're about to say something but someone else says it for you, but you're not mad so you just second their answer? That point? Did that make any sense?

Oh, yeah, makes sense. Also, sorry for the double post.

Drama shot Fadran finger guns right back.

It's a bit more complicated than that. I'm using my own worldhopping system because I have no idea how the Alleyverse or whatever works. It should still work with it without breaking anything :P

Intriguing...

"Yes, we are from different worlds. Kind of fun, I guess. I'm from the planet Gliattodin in the universe Tesanary. No idea where these guys are from, though."

"Fascinating. My ancestors had stories of travelling through worlds. But that all stopped when the Holed stole all the magic."

So... I'm just gonna sit here till Xino gets here. Then I'll try a plot.

"Let's see... that abandoned island place, the Alleyverse, another abandoned island place, the Iconar Collective, this place, and--hopefully--Roshar."

Ember follows Fadran out.

"He will serve me, or die." said Aridith simply.

You're kind of messing with the backstory a bit, Negative_Null... :P. The holed are actually recent additions (they aren't native to universe Hexagon) and the Hyxali never had any more magic than they currently have.

Sorry. Should have asked first, but I felt this would be interesting. The non-native part is actually where I was going, but if you're saying that we're non-magical, ok. I was hoping for a bit of magic, that's all :D

There is a bit of magic.

The first Hyxali was (and is) Hyxlia, the First Queen. She was a member of a more insectile race, but made a deal with an asha to become more human and gain awareness/sapience. She's still alive, and rules as the Queen of the Hive in the center of Hyxali lands.

In the servants' chamber (I'm assuming we're there), Fadran sits down and starts thinking deeply, as characterized by his unseeing stare at the fireplace. He fingers his Channelblade, the arm of the chair, the table next to it; anything that his hands think is worth fingering. He mutters to himself under his breath uncomprehensively, and nothing about his body language says anything about what he could possibly be thinking about.
