Gears Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Dr. Gears watched the world as it fell apart, barely paying attention to the escape plans. This was a rare opportunity. No danger, no threat, just a world tearing itself into component parts. He didn't have to leave until his Hume Field was close to equilibrium, assuming Kejel's Laws still held true in this realm. The others could go, the siphon should have gotten enough data at this point, and they would ruin his observations. He handed each of them a perfect sphere and kept watching.

"I'm leaving, Truth. You can come with me, if you want."

Nathrangking he/him Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 I turn to Dr. Gears and frown. I throw the sphere away and follow Fadran and kindness through their portal. Before I vanish I send a spear of heat which vaporizes his notes and devices. I then vanish into the Parallarity.

I'm not sure where Dr. Gears is headed, but I assume that if Ene can't get on right now she'll just say her character hitched a ride with one of the Rekaerbs or followed everyone through the Parallarity. Channelknight Fadran Posted June 17, 2020 Author Posted June 17, 2020 Fadran, Kindness, Truth, Gears, and anyone else who came with them (not everyone's posted so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) come through the Parallarity, which closes with a loud snap behind them. Fadran winces at the sound; evidently that sound wasn't a good thing.
