jcady Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 (edited) Just a funny thought, then I got to thinking Brandon is Hoid. The collector of stories. The one that was there for the shattering but not one of the shards. Who, Travels to all the worlds and interjects as only an author would (kinda like the neverending story). Whether it is written into the books at some point or not, the two are connected for me now. What do you think? Or is it deeper, in all actuality is Brandon Sanderson really a worldhopper? That's why his books are so good. It's just history, not fantasy. Edited June 7, 2020 by jcady 4

Ascended Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Did he spike them somehow and spike himself with their speed? 1

The shards that steal writing speed conspiracy. That's not true. Psst, Brandon hide the shard, they're asking about it again. 1

And yes it specifies 'shards' Edited June 8, 2020 by Frustration

I remember seeing a joke about Sanderson making spikes that stole writing speed. But not Shards that stole writing speed.

18th Shard he/him Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Ah, that would be Hemalurgic sodium (or the Epic God Metal, as it is less commonly known).
Scadrian Truthwatcher Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 I have thought of this too. Some descriptions of Hoid loosely match Brandon.
Veledsier Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Do you guys think Grandpa Smedry(aka-Leavenworth Smedry) from Alcatraz series, could be Kelsier? He seems similar in character and they are both always late for EVERYTHING! I believe the evidence is there. Anyone else?
