I’ve beat Calamity Ganon and all the shrines and still am too scared to fight a Lynel. Maybe soon. Guess I’ll never learn if I don’t try but…

Personally I'd say you should. I postponed my first fight with a Lynel too long and by the time I did fight one, red and blue ones were too easy. Even if I didn't know the patterns and they threw me all around the place, losing half a heart per hit having 20 and food to spare wasn't particularly exciting.

if you're worried about it, cook some armor food and some bonus heart food, since you can have both of those bonuses at the same time, that way you go in with extra health and you take less damage. and start on a red lynel.  but once you fight a couple you get use to their patterns and you can beat them regularly.

It’s not too difficult if you have urbosa’s fury. Always be ready to dodge.

And never try to snipe them out. You will lose.

Unless you're really good at hitting them in the eye. And have a boatload of bows and arrows.

Speaking of, has anyone been able to do the bow of light glitch? Where you get it out of the final battle? I’ve tried multiple times with no luck.
