No, but I've stopped writing so much for the last three months because it was straining my injured wrist, even with a Kakuno. That being said, I also just tend not to have heavier pens. Met isn't heavy-heavy but I still like them lighter than the Met is

I've put my Pilot cartridge extension experiment/project on the back burner for now.  I need to empty a few more of them before I start, so I'll have a wider margin for error.

Really started to get back to pens and it feels so good

Had to stop while my wrist healed but now I don't feel pain even when writing with my Carene. Still trying not to push it though. Cleaning out all the old pens and re-tracking what's inked though... >>

I went nuts and bought a new Sailor 'magic' ink, and a Tuzu to put it in.

Got the gray Tuzu, and the ink is called Suki Gokoro….from the Sailor color-shifting line.

The B writes okay…and it's comfortable to hold, but the whole pen seems like a $20 pen with a gimmick, that sells for $50.

The shaped section pulls out with some fiddling and with that, you can 'adjust' which direction the nib points.  Look for the short Sailor promo video which shows someone actually adjusting it.  
 

 I had also bought a fine, and had to return it for egregious scratchiness.  I have more than one Sailor with fine nib, and none are scratchy.

But after all, I had wanted a Tuzu, and I'm okay with this B nib.

Money has been kinda tight of late, so I haven't bought any more pens or ink.  And I'm down to my last box of Pilot Blue-Black carts (I've been going through them pretty quick for some reason).  But I want my next purchase to be a TWSBI Eco in Irish Green.  I just hope JetPens doesn't sell out first.  I have the Cerulean Blue in EF.  Now I want the Irish Green.

The Broad Tuzu writes a little dry.  And I'm using a Sailor ink (Yurameku Suki Gokoro).  
 

The pen's weight is right and it feels good in the hand.  But I still think $50 is a bit overpriced.

I have 2 as well.  They were originally F, but are now both EF due to the power of swapping nibs with EF Penmanships.  The Kakunos are also easy on my arthritis.

I've...well...does it count if the kakunos were last year? I'm really beginning to love kakunos for cheap throwaways that are office-safe. Then I don't need to worry very much about them, they go into the pencil case, and the nib is almost always perfect out of the box.

I'm not sure. It depends on what's in my local pen shop, which sadly (or maybe it's for the best...) does not stock Sailor or Pelikan.

I'm gonna say if they were last year then they don't count.  I don't do anything right now where I'd have to think about office pens--all of mine are desk-only at the moment. If that were to change I'd probably end up with the Preppy, though.

  I initially read this as you saying you only use desk pens and was a little "whoa, what happened to your collection man, desk pens is such a switch"  Then I got it.

Preppies are really so value-for-money too though. And unlike the Kakuno, they don't need extra work to be eyedropped filled  I do have a bunch of Jinhao 82s as well but mostly because I like pens I don't have to baby for testing weird inks, and again, work etc. I did have a colleague just casually take up my Delike Alpha and use it wrongly before, and I'd probably have been more bothered if it was a Pel, but that's why I bring pens that are meant to be abused to the office.

RIP, but also, fair! Easier on the wallet, too. My local pen stores actually are quite hooked in to the Taiwanese and Japanese markets as well so that's no good. Sailor in fact I think just ran another price increase a couple of weeks back, sigh.

Ideally, I'd only ever need one desk pen, and that pen would be the Platinum one, but I don't need a desk pen, so I'll stick with the dozen or so normal ones I keep at hand instead.

This is why I'd probably just end up using nice ball pens at the office instead. There aren't many fountain pens I'd trust in an office (Preppy aside), and that's assuming the office in question stocks paper that works with fp ink.
