culturalrebel Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 My 8 kids and I are all big Sanderson fans. We are getting a Great Dane puppy and would like to use a Cosmere related name but we can't agree on one. Any suggestions? I figured this has come up before but I did a search and didn't see anything. 1

It has those hard consonants that'll make it easier to get your dog's attention, and you can shorten it to "Dox" if you want. 1
Angsos Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 I agree with The Last Post, TenSoon is the only acceptable cosmere dog name, especially a large dog 1
+robardin he/him Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 TenSoon seems the obvious choice, except that it's a Great Dane and not a wolfhound, which may or may not matter. I would also suggest that Ien, or the name of another Seon from Elantris, would be appropriate (being bonded Splinters of Devotion).
culturalrebel Posted August 26, 2019 Author Posted August 26, 2019 I wasn't able to talk the kids in to TenSoon. We ended up going with Tien due to his ability to make us all smile no matter what. Thanks for the suggestions! 5

Wyndlerunner he/him Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Tien's a solid name. While I'm a bit more of a small dog person, I wish you luck in your puppy parenthood @culturalrebel
Trick he/him Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 I would have gone for a Spren name. Either Syl or Pattern (could call him Pat). Tien is a good choice though. I hope you are in puppy love!
