I've always pictured him like a large pitbull maybe, but more bulldog as well? A pitbull / bulldog mix, if you will. Like this, but even larger.

What @RShara said. Scadrial is explicitly the Cosmere's earth analogue and unless we're explicitly told otherwise we can assume everything we see there matches what we have here on earth. Since wolfhounds are a real thing and that was the breed that Vin procured, we can assume that TenSoon looks just like one.

Fair enough. Never looked into it. My mental image will probably still be the pitbull / bulldog mix though. (Just like I incorrectly view Kelsier with dark hair (he has blonde hair!)).

I always imagined TenSoon to be like a Dire Wolf or a Hell Hound, but that's just me. I also imagine Kelsier with dark hair.

FYI - I found a WoB from "Arcanum Unbounded Hoboken signing - (Dec 3, 2016)" stating that TenSoon actually looks more like a wolf-like dog, almost like a Husky/Wolf mix.

I somehow mixed the wolfish part of TenSoon's look with my own dog, which is a German Shepherd xD It oddly fits.
