@Wander89 A great and epic series. Tad always was one of my favourite authors, because of the world-building and almost grand storytelling.

I started reading Brandon from Elantris and don't regret that. It blew me away in all positive senses and when other books showed themselves to be even better, I smiled widely. Actually, my friend was telling me it's an easy fantasy for noobs, it amused me after I read the book. Hrathen is one of the more complex characters indeed, I like his arc most from the book.

I hope the kitty named Ruin won't ruin anything in the house I am old kitty momma and I know how cats treat the furniture ^^

@Kingsdaughter613 I think that there won't be such huge gap between reading the first trilogy and the second - about two, three weeks As I never faced the MC yet, I will mind to not delve more into the section until I read all the Mistborn books.

When you search in your genealogy tree if you had skaa called Kelsier in line (duh, only noble blooded sillies there, I feel cheated).

I was a reckless pre-fan as I bought all the books at once, in a huge bag that arrived for me this summer. I sensed I will like them, it was the second time I risked that much, the other time was a whole bunch of Tad Williams books. My first book was Elantris. I can say that after the first 50 pages, I knew that this is it. I read translation but I plan to read Elantris in original to check how everything sounds by Mr Brandon himself. Nevertheless, I am fresh as a young carrot just peeking from the ground I tried to realize why I didn't buy the books earlier. Probably my reading crisis stopped me from not only buying them but reading at all for a few years.

I love Gavin from Lightbringer. He is a character that no one can overlook and even if he is so powahful, he is likeable. I read all the released books in one month, even having a lot of work IR. Some of the things in the series may surprise you in real Sanderson way.
