Brandon's been playing us all, folks. I found the message hidden in a WOB. It's true - the Fractured States and the whole planet Earth in Brandon Sanderson's Reckoners series is part of our beloved cosmere.

What's that?

I know where that link goes. I'm not clicking it.

It goes to Arcanum!

...I looked at your first posts, and I don't see the Connection?

It does not go to Arcanum. I see the non-tinyurl'd link (it shortens the link into gibberish).

If you're attempting to look at my first post via the See My Activity thing, it doesn't go all the way back. There's a post I made the night I joined that is conspiciously missing. It's a good thing, though. It was honestly stupid. But the end of those 69pages is months after I joined initially.

*nice

Weird.

How can you tell where it goes?

You still don't know where it goes, though. Just that it's

I have that video bookmarked on my bar, so I just compared the last bit by hovering over the bookmark.

Tinyurl compresses the links into a short form-redirect and hides the actual link. I.e. http://tinyurl.com/q44douk

See I know that this is a joke, but I'm still tempted to reflexively rage out right now.

I picked the topic for a reason. ;)

The funny thing is, I actually debated using 'gancho' or 'sule', because every time I use gancho I think of you, Gancho. I now I come here and find that you've read my mind.

Oh my gosh!  I was just thinking the same thing!  However, all I had as evidence was a (confusing)WOB about how the Cosmere is part of a larger universe, and I thought that, though the Reckoners books may not be directly Cosmere, it makes a lot of sense for Reckoners to be part of the same wider universe, and for Calamity to be a Aldonalsium equivalent instead of a Shard one, and to have faked his death after the sixteen used the weapon, logic, to convince him to go away, which would then fit in to the fact that some of Calamity's siblings abandoned their duties!

However, this idea makes so much more sense!

I genuinely can't tell if you're joking or not. So if you are, good job.

I'm half joking.  I think it's extremely unlikely, but it would be cool if it were true, and an awesome long-term gambit by Brandon.

There's so much that doesn't make sense according to Realmatics, though.

But Realmatics were invented by Aldonalsium.  Not the God Beyond.  Necessarily.  Under my half-theory, each sub-god would be pretty much free to dictate the own rules of their universe.

Realmatics are science, they weren't really invented per se?

Scadrial's a planet.  It has rocks and stuff.  That's science.  Scadrial was created by Ruin and Preservation.

Plus, if the magic of each world was created by a mix between the planet and all Shards invested in it, maybe the universe's magic was created by a mix between the sub-god associated with it.
