Xino, you wanna talk about this in a PM? With just me, or can I invite others?

Sure.

Draug woke up with sunlight streaming through the window. He rolled over in bed to check the time on the digital clock on the bed stand.

To his surprise and shock, it was already eleven thirty. He'd slept in quite a bit, it seemed. Even stranger, he actually felt refreshed.
That had never happened on the streets. The Dream Walker was always ready to attack a lone Radiant through nighttime visions. He couldn't remember a single night for the past year where his dreams hadn't been corrupted by her sinister touch.
He'd wake up almost as exhausted as he was when he fell asleep. Stormlight would help with that, of course, and sometimes even provided a sort of substitute for sleeping when he couldn't face the thought of another mental battle.
Even worse were the days when the Unmade stayed with him even when awake. Often times when that happened he came close to giving up and just letting the cursed spren take his memories. Voidbringers never hunted down former Radiants. Life was hard enough on the streets as it was, especially with the red-eyes so close on his tail. Without having to worry about them, life would be much easier. For starters, he could sell his gemstones; that would probably get him enough to at least get started in life. Without Voidbringers he could stay in one place for longer than a week. They might even help him out; they loved it when Radiants gave up. They liked it even more than killing one, in fact, as a Radiant giving up would kill the spren, too. If they were lucky, they would even get the Shards before another Radiant snatched them up.
Each time, they came a little bit closer to their goal. In the end, that was why he wouldn't give up. Why he couldn't give up. He'd tried to protect his siblings, and he'd failed. Now he had a chance to protect the whole world. He could not fail again.
And today, that meant killing some more Voidbringers. He got out of bed and went downstairs, ready for whatever the day would bring.

There's a knocking on the front door. Suddenly, it opens and what looks like a 15 year old looks inside and says "whoa, this place is big. Either i'm not crazy, or just really lucky."

“Ok! Um... if you would follow me, it is right this way.” He led the way to the stairs.

"Right here? Do I just go in?"

Edwin crossed the living room thinking about what to do. Staying inside would be insanely boring, at least he wasn't in the mood today, but he couldn't think of anything fun to do. Maybe he'd just go to the pool with the rest, assuming they were there, or he could go to the music store, the walk would be nice. He was pondering about this when suddenly he stopped, looking at the front door, where someone apparently one or two years younger than him had just appeared and was entering the house.

"Oh, hey, ummm, are you lost?"

“Yep! He is in the workshop in the next level down, the basement.”

"Oh, my Spre- er, I was told to come here by someone." The boy walks forward. "My name is Flidmir, but you can call me Flid."

"Right, I'm Edwin..." he said, a puzzled look on his face. "You say someone told you to come here. Do you know what kind of place this is?"

"No, I..." Flid sighs. "you probably won't believe me, but I have some kind of... spirit following me around. he told me to come here for some reason.. I'm not sure why."

"Oh." Edwin felt a wave of understanding and relief, he wouldn't have to make up some silly story to get rid of the boy. "Well, then you're lucky he told you about this place. Don't worry, you're not crazy, though we all think that at first."

"Yes, and yes." He gestured Twinkle to let herself be seen by Flid. "This is Twinkle, I met her during an incident where she saved my life, though she says otherwise, and this house is a place for people like you and me to gather. There's been so many new people lately that I already lost count."

Also, gotta leave. my lunch is over.

"No wonder this house is so big then. um Bliss, could you-"  Flid motions for bliss to become visible, which he does. "This is Bliss. He says I'm a stoneward. what exactly does that mean?"

"A stoneward. Have you done strange things to objects around you? A stoneward  can liquefy and solidify stuff, put bluntly. There's a lot more to it but I probably should let Doc explain that, he's like our leader. For now I'm afraid I must tell you you have quite the responsibility on you now. I hope we can help you get through it."

Back, got a study hall class

"Thanks for explaining that. stuff like that has happened to me. Are there any empty rooms or a couch I can sleep on?

"So, you don't have a place to stay? Don't worry, there should be a few empty rooms on the second floor. For now I think you should introduce yourself to Doc. He can explain you everything you don't understand far better than me and besides, it's his house so..."

"alright thanks, so I guess I'll head up stairs. Thanks again!" Flid starts to walk away to go upstairs. after putting his bag of clothes into a unused room, he decides to go look around. after going downstairs, he sees Sawyer. and asks, "Oh, are you another radiant?"

Doc stared at his diagram. It was almost done, he just needed a way to recharge it.

Someone knocked on his door, shaking him out of his reverie.

"Come in." he called "It's open."

Sawyer noticed the boy walk past her. He looked to be about two years younger than her and was a little shorter too. She followed him in.
