RazeU Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 (edited) So Brandon posted this on Facebook 40 minutes ago. I obviously zoomed in. Rhythm of War? Chapter title? Or book title? Sorry if this isn’t new info. Edited March 2, 2019 by RazeU 5
Bigmikey357 he/him Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Tentative book title. It may change in future. 1

old man moomba he/him Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Hmm. That's a pretty rocky beach. Perhaps he's doing research on tropical weather. We could be seing more of the Purelake in Book 4....

That looks like a certain semi-secluded beach near Hilo, on the Big Island. Don't question how I know this. Shardbearer he/him Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 If he's writing the prologue does that mean he's done hammering out the outline? 2
+Bliev she/her Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I thought “rhythm of war” a long time ago when it was revealed this would be the eshonai flashback but I after my most recent re-read I thought maybe “the lost rhythms”. But rhythm of war fits better. Hope it sticks!
Ookla the Foreclosed Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 (edited) From Brandon's reddit post: Quote Plan is to be finished with the outline of Book Four by March 1st. (Tentative title: The Rhythm of War, but I'm not 100% on that yet.) Then I'll dive into the book. Edited March 3, 2019 by MistCLOAKed Mountains 1
LerasiumMistborn Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Interesting. I'm not going to read it, but I think it will be an amazing book for everyone else (so, I'm a little jealous, but in a good way).

equinox Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 The outlining progress bar is still on 40% (Starsight 3rd draft is at 100% though - thanks that somebody here convinced me to read Skyward. Now, I have another series to wait for).

Toaster Retribution he/him Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I am so looking forward to this book! And Rythm of War sounds like a great title to me.

Karger he/him Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 (edited) When do you all think that we will be able to read the prologue or any of the book itself? Edited March 3, 2019 by Karger
Pagerunner he/him Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 1 hour ago, Karger said: When do you all think that we will be able to read the prologue or any of the book itself? Our earliest looks come from readings at signings and conventions. Since there's another upcoming book we haven't gotten any looks at yet (Skyward 2), I expect that's what we'll be seeing the most of. There's a convention at the end of this month in Kansas City, some Europe visits in May, I think, and then DragonCon later in the year. Depending on how far Brandon gets and how comfortable he feels with his drafts, it's possible that we'll get excerpts at one or more of those events. But, on the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't 'til the Skyward 2 tour in November. 3
