"Hrmf," Dan huffed. "Yes, the six-and-a-half foot tall guy with the ram horns and hawk wings is adorable. Funny how that is."

He chuckled. And the five-two guy can be completely incapacitated by poking his chest. Want to try it out?" He chuckled, smiling at him. 

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"What?" Experimentally, Dan poked Shae's chest with one hand.

He chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Dude, remember? I told you about it when we sparred that one time. And it's about here." He moved Dan's finger to the correct spot. 

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

Dan didn't remember, but he ignored that and poked Shae in that spot on his chest.

He froze, his muscles locking up and his eyes seeming to lose focus, like he wasn't really seeing anything. He just sort of... sat there. 

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

Dan moved his hand, panicked, and said, "Dude, are you okay? Awake?"

He didn't even blink, just staring. He was still breathing though, so there was that at least.

Dan moved and shook Shae thoroughly. "You're scaring me, dude." He poked Shae again in the same spot, to see if that would work.

He went limp in his arms, eyes closing like he'd passed out.

"Uuuuuhhh, he definitely should've told me how to reverse this before I did it," Dan mumbled to himself, starting to genuinely panic. He shook Shae again, harder this time.

Nothing happened. He woke up a few minutes later, dazed and confused. "Nngh... what?" He sounded sleepy. 

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"Youtoldmetopokeathingonyourchestandididandyoufellasleepandiwasscared," Dan said, hugging Shae close to him.

Shae squeaked, blushing and stiffening at the sudden hug. He relaxed, hugging back and biting his lip. "O-oh... Yeah... sorry. It just wears off after a while... normally. I don't know why I passed out... that normally only happens if it gets hit twice..."

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"I thought it was maybe like an on-and-off switch or something so I hit it again," Dan said, pressing his face into Shae's shoulder.

He blushed. N-no... generally I'm still aware unless I get knocked out or something... It's alright, I'm just glad you didn't take the chance to see what making out with your sleeping boyfriend is like... I mean, I wouldn't mind, I just ... want to give permission for things before they happen. You know?" He chuckled, a bit embarrassed.

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"And that's precisely why Disney movies are always so creepy," Dan muttered into Shae's shoulder. Then he pulled himself together and sat up straight. "You just got me really scared, and yes, I will ask for your permission if I ever want to do anything."

He blinked. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. At least you know now, though. Thank you for that, it makes me feel a lot better." He hummed, then looked at him, allowing his curiosity to best him. "Um... What's a 'disney movie'?"

"An oddly terrifying form of entertainment that I'd rather not explain," Dan said, falling back onto his haunches. "It's getting kind of late."

He nodded, humming softly in confusion. "Okay... I'll head back to my room, then. Unless..." He hesitated, biting his lip nervously. It had already happened once, right? What harm could come from one more night? "Unless you want me to sleep here... with you...?"

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

Dan nodded casually, like he hadn't been hoping Shae was going to stay. "I mean, it's not going to rain, so you'll be fine."

He nodded. "Alright... If it does ever rain, you can come have a sleepover in the art studio with me. Sound good?" He smiled, blushing slightly and biting his lip. He was intentionally falling asleep this time, So... He'd be taking off his shirt. He didn't know why that made him feel so weird- even if it was him sleeping with his boyfriend. He began giving himself various pep talks, forcing down his nervousness.

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"Yes, but I'll have to sleep in a corner with nothing in it, so that I don't knock anything over with my wings. I move them when I'm asleep sometimes."

He smiled. "I'll solve that problem pretty easily. I start teaching weaving next week, and I've been learning some of it so I'll actually be able to teach the kids something. With a little help from you, a hammock wouldn't be hard to rig up somewhere in the room."
