kenod Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Shade walked onto the complex, looking at the people walking around. Only a few looked at her though, and even they didn't focus on her. There was no reason they would, of course. Even using her powers slightly made others ignore her, and Shade was fine with that. She looked around, feeling the calmness of the place. She wondered if this was the place she had been looking for, the place she could finally stop running, and rest. She walked up to one of the men in priest robes. Taking a deep breath she dropped her ability. Immediately she got scared, feeling exposed without her powers hiding her, and she nearly ran away, but she managed to stop herself. "I'm sorry," she said softly, "I've heard you offer a safe place for people to stay. Is it possible for me to join?"
