Darth Woodrack he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Quote He's getting mad because you are being OP, which is against the rules. Jackal charged in the back with three dozen Ronix Ninjas, slashing through the Church protectors.
Lunar Blessing she/her Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 The complex changes into a heavily fortified fortress in an instant, and all investure near the wall no longer works.
+Ark1002 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Quote Not physically possible, and not how soulstamps work.
Lunar Blessing she/her Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Quote You know what? I DON’T CARE! You are attacking a peaceful complex for NO REASON
Sherlock Holmes he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Quote Also, we openly RPed that this Soulstamp exists. So be mad, but you can’t do a thing about it.
old man moomba he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Quote Ok, that's fine, but how does the Investiture null zone work? I mean, a fortress might work, but creating a null zone would have to be some serious history rewriting.
Sherlock Holmes he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 (edited) Quote And so there was. When did the Council okay this, and why attack a guild a thousand miles from everything else that hasn’t done anything? Dan burst out into the sky from the school building and flew towards the barracks immediately. He grabbed a grenade or three, and made sure all of the soldiers got assault rifles, then flew out to attack. Edited March 18, 2019 by Sherlock Holmes
Lunar Blessing she/her Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Quote Yes, I also want your reasoning to waste so many resources

ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Shae froze for half a second as Dan left before quickly ushering the kids over to the bunker, handing the oldest one there- that he trusted- the key so they could lock themselves in, then began to hurry around the building, hesitating when the building changed. His soulstamp??? He paled, quickly beginning to head some of the more heavily defended rooms, nervously seeking to protecting the art within.

Confirmed with Archer before he left. So use of armies and somewhat elaborate base defenses are allowed, same general resource level that the GBs have access to. 2 hours ago, Darth Sir Woodrack Groot said: Jackal charged in the back with three dozen Ronix Ninjas, slashing through the Church protectors. Quote Yep, given great guild status and taking what the existing great guilds have set up as permissible base defenses this was approved for use. As always I'm happy to have the discussion if needed but the GBs I would think really wouldn't want to open up the discussion around the necessity of nerfing bases.

Quote No offense Ax, I like you, and Po, but neither of you would know about a council decision. Ark is a GB council member, and we are using GB resources. I am joining in for two reasons; Ark is an IRL friend who I am helping, becuase he asked me IRL, and the Jackal would do this, as GB are paying him, a lot of money. Now, Potency,t he most important question; any reason Walker would be here?
+Ark1002 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Quote 1 hour ago, Dr. Dapper said: So, according to Brandon any magic using soulstamps needs a source, and you don't have that. It couldn't without a massive amount of investiture as a source. And the Council approved it as an attack on a rival guild. Have fun. The Skybreakers, well trained, dropped and rolled, pulling out a combination of machine guns and grenade launchers. They started firing. The lava epic continued unstopped, blasting his way through walls. The Waiter turned towards the Steelrunners, who would now be investitureless, and started firing, picking them off one by one. He laughed happily at the sluaghter, then pulled the pin off a grenade from his belt. He threw it, across the room, towards a wall with slight damage from Skybreakers. It fell in pieces , revealing a bunker door. He looked around, saw a man in the distance, but ignored it, running up to the door. He set up an explosive, then ran backwards, activating it from a distance. It blew up, loudly, sending shrapnel, dust, and smoke high into the sky. He ran in, and started firing at the children.
Lunar Blessing she/her Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Quote How are we a rival guild?
ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Quote Doesn't the Dor exist in this world? It was used extensively in the war to free Voidus? 1
Sherlock Holmes he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 (edited) Quote But why? What have we done to you? Do you want to make an enemy of a great guild? @Darth Sir Woodrack Groot Quote Ray, you're an idiot. The lava Epic's powers stopped working. Whoop-ee. Epic powers apply as Investiture in the Alleyverse. Quote Where on earth did the Skybreakers get machine guns? Where were they wearing them? The wall remained undamaged. It was made to withstand nuclear fallout. It was a literal bunker. Soldiers got out their assault rifles, formed a line, and fired at all of the attackers. Dan flew above them and tossed all three grenades at the attackers. @Element of Chaos Edited March 18, 2019 by Sherlock Holmes

Darth Woodrack he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Quote If they do, then I would have won the Great Game. Just saying.
ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Shae noticed the man who was attempting to hurt the children. The children were far more important than any art, so if this man wad trying to hurt them, he needed to be fought off. Shae had no illusions- if this mean was as good as Dan, then the best he could do was distract him and maybe get him off balance- hopefully that would work until Dan could help. He began running towards the man, intentionally ruining in a way that would be hard to hit with projectiles- guns weren't familiar to him, but he understood them enough to know at least this much about avoiding them.
Sherlock Holmes he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Dan saw Shae running at one of the gun-wielding attackers and dived immediately, ramming into the attacker from behind with enough force to at least break the attacker's spine.
Darth Woodrack he/him Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Quote I don't want it counted as a separate setting. The proposal that I have been operating under is that their are characters mad specifically for that thread that have to stay there, but normal characters that count towards your limit can go back an forth. The Ninjas, I will make GB, instead of Ronix, but the Jackal is a normal character, as is Walker, and Potency. Also, if it is an alternate setting, than they can go in between them. And then, I have an empty character slot for them to fill. @Voidus
