Wes nodded quickly at the Mistborn. “Hi, Mistborn, I’m We-” he realised he’d already introduced himself and stopped.

Wes nodded. “Yes, a Ghostblood,” said, rubbing his feet together underneath the table. “I don’t get out much though, I’m an underling.”

He heard what the mistborn asked. Hobbies. “I like collecting chess pieces,” he said. “Very nicely decorated pieces, from all sorts of sets. People drop a lot of things in the labs,” he said. “I also like collecting Cerrobend, that’s Bendalloy in ca—” he realised he’d already said that and stopped.

“Yes. What about you? Hobbies? I think drinking for you, not to offend.”

A woman observed the meeting, sitting in the Ghostblood's section. She didn't act, for the moment she only wanted to get a feeling for those who formed the senat.
Now and then she took some notes, so that she would be able to write an accurate report later and otherwise mostly kept to herself.

Thel continued to wait to be called up, as he was sitting down in his seat. He was completely ready to represent the precursors to the Alley Government. They just had to call him up.

I don't know if this was ever brought up. Do the unaffiliated NPCs of the Alleyverse get any say in anything decided at all? They can't really be a guild and therefore can't have a seat, but they would be the ones making up most of the population even if we ignore them most of the time. It just feels a little unrealistic and wrong for them not to have a vote or voice.

I feel like someone would have to use a character that they would portray as the people's champion to voice that. Just because otherwise anyone could say the NPCs wanted anything. So it could be something someone came to voice, bit they wouldn't necessarily have an official position, unless they were nominated chancellor.

A young page boy bearing a message scampered over to where Keleth was seated.  Keleth read the message, and his expression was slightly disturbed.  He stood up, consulted the message once more, than said, "I have just received report of the disturbing activities of Benson.  If I may, I would propose action by this body.  He has threatened multiple guilds of the alleyverse, the DA included.  He should be brought before a court of law to stand trial.  Does anyone second this move?"

Astiel woke up and looked around, listening to the young page boy entering. He breathed in some stormlight, the intoxication fading and hurriedly cleaned himself up, walking to the canton of combat area and considering the decision.

"Keleth, right?" He called out to the man who read out the message.

"I believe that evidence that the accused has done these things should be presented?"

Dusk arrived and said, "Hello, I'm here to represent the Citadel's interests. I don't think we have an official government seat, but I'm here anyways! So, what exactly do I do here?"

Saying this he turned to his side as though seeking agreement from his partner, bit then remembered the seat was currently empty. "Where are they? It's been a while now." He said, looking st his watch, forgetting it was broken.

Ask for this Benson case, I propose that we just hand him over to the DA to spike stuff out of him because that is what the criminally inclined deserve. We have enough to discuss."

"Also the DA doesn't want anything to do with him, and Mac is declining to make a public appearance as of yet. Something about science taking up his time."

Ciera shoved the DA man off the podium where she had been standing. 

"I have just recived news; Benson is now under the protection of TUBA." she paused, "I, for onre, would like to hear what his deal entailed. If the representative from TUBA would enlighten us at later date. Now, I believe we should continue with our agenda."
