The man pulled at KoTiel's grasp, trying to get free. "Clones vanish when destroyed." He gestured towards the floor. "As you can see, the other clone is gone."

KoTiel thought for a bit. "In that case, what happens if I eat part of you, like your limbs, and wait with killing you until after I've digested you? Will part of my mass just vanish?"

The man continued trying to pull his head off the wall. "It should vanish before you finish digesting it. The same goes for any items on me."

Another Swedish man appeared.

“So you’re like that guy from Confinement?” He asked, knowing most likely no one would get his reference. He promptly dissipated into water droplets.

KoTiel sighed. Getting annoyed, they called out: "Hey, can someone get confinement in here, or maybe security? Get them to take this guy away. Just get rid of his limbs, don't kill him, otherwise we'll just get a clone, and I still want to do some experiments on him. Now, can we get back to the science?"

"You were?" KoTiel asked, surprised. "Well, just sit down somewhere and wait for your turn." Releasing him, they turned to Mac. "Hey Mac, I thought the idea was that we'd reuse the old guy, not use a new subject? Also, are you sure it's a good idea to use someone with some weird type of investure for the experiments already?"

Posted

"I believe that my 'weird investiture', as you put it, was the point of volunteering." The man sat down in a nearby chair. "I would like to try that stamp you used earlier, if it's alright."

Posted

"Mac is the one who will decide on that," KoTiel replied. After a short pause they continued talking in a softer tone. "Sorry about the whole pinning you against the wall by the way, I thought you were an intruder."

Mac looked over from where he was readying the stamps.

”Yeah, so uh we appreciate the eagerness to join science, but we need to have your spirit web memorized for this experiment. Also, I’m pretty sure you were just running around in the alleys causing trouble,”

Fred smiled. He pulled a spike from his pocket. "I've been working on this one. You are willing to be experimented on? Well, come here."

This spike will change your power slightly. Be warned.

KoTiel decided it would probably take a while before the experiment resumed, so they took out their notebook and continued working on the design for a different experiment they had planned.

Fred smiled, walking up to the man. "This will only hurt a bit." He then smashed the spike through his heart. "Okay, I lied. Either way, your epic power is now to clone others, with the same power level. You can no longer clone yourself." Fred smiled, relishing in the hemalurgy.

"Clone others?" KoTiel looked up from their notebook. "Can I borrow you for a bit? I want to see if your clones copy the spiritweb as well."

Posted

Fred smiled. "Yes, that will be helpful. But first, try cloning me. I want to make sure it worked."

In RP it did.

The man reached out and touched Fred's arm. Another Fred suddenly blinked into existence.

He called out to KoTiel, not taking his eyes off the Freds. "Clones don't share a Spiritweb, but they are Connected."

I kept my eyes on the Freds. "Not quite. Trying to spike out of a clone will result in the clone's collapse. I think, however," I continued, "that you can do some interesting things with stamps."
