I never made this connection! Lena simply was eating all the time ever since I started playing her. Lena followed her and put on thick gloves and an apron. Which about the extent of cloths she could find. But there was sand. "Grab the sand." she instructed Warder. "He's got this acid covering him. So maybe if throw enough small stuff at him, that will render that useless. If he can't control it, he will use his acid up on the sand and then we can grab him. He had to replenish it, did you see how it returned after he killed the man?"

It would be interesting to see if her theory regarding his acid would prove right, or not. If she was right, then his acid would automatically start to dissolve the sand the moment it touched it. And maybe if they poured enough sand on him, they could force him to use it up without hurting them. Quote I have no idea if this can work. I'm simply trying things out, that Lena could think of. So don't worry about it not working, I won't be angry or something like this. I might come up with another idea though @xinoehp512

He didn't have teeth, but if he did he would have gritted them as he tightened his hold on the shade's neck, hardening the outside of his hand into a solid ring. Edahs would not find much, he would see Alask and Lena walking through PlasmaCore, with Nekorb, and then everything eeent blurry and chaotic as the Space Marine ship approached and everyone ran everywhere, they would see Alask and Lena waiting, calling out for Nekorb, seeing someone who looked like him but eventually giving up. They would see Alask was Nekorb’s friend. Shez screamed and roared at the intrusion of his mind and as the suffocation grew he clawed at the solid ring around his neck. Eyes burning with the deepest red, Shez grabbed on the arm used to suffocate him with both hand and pulled as hard as he could, with all of his strength. If he couldn’t rip the hand off his neck he would rip the arm off of Edahs.
xinoehp512 he/him Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 (edited) Edahs felt a surge of excitement as the man's memories of Nekorb came up. PlasmaCore, he thought. Nekorb had been there- not too long ago, by the looks of it. He was on the trail. Of course, he thought as the green-glowing man began to stretch his arm to an alarming degree, I have to get away from here first. He concentrated hard for a brief moment- no small task, given the circumstances. As he did so, the hardened shadow-crystal around the man's neck began to crack apart, shadow-acid returning to it. With a loud thwack, his arm shrank back to its normal length, snapping against Shez's hand as it did so. @I think I am here. Edited May 26, 2019 by xinoehp512

He turned a corner and started the long, windy pathway towards the building he had heard echoes of in Alask's mind.
+Sorana she/her Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Lena turned to Shez. He was behaving differently, than a year ago. The people seemed to like him, and he acted differently. As Edahs ran away, somebody shouted “He’s gone!”. Soon, more people and those who had left had returned, cheering, but keeping their distance. Some woman was crying at the man Edahs had devoured, but the general consensus was that they were happy, that the Hunter Shade had scared off another enemy. Shez’s rage still boiled, but it was tempered with reason. For some reason, he knew Alask liked the civilians, he knew the woman with the food wasn’t an enemy, she had tried to help him, she was a friend? Shez was still angry, that anger clouding his judgement. Shez roared at the woman, moving close to her in a heartbeat, but not close enough the tendrils would wither her. “I want to kill her,” Shez said to Alask. “I’m so ANGRY! I WANT TO KILL THEM ALL!” They mean no harm, Alask said wearily, and briefly taking control he made Shez step back. “I know. I don’t understand, everything was simple, I hunted the rule breakers. But now, I’m smarter. How am I smarter? And now, there’s the woman, and I’m so mad I could kill her right now. But I know you don’t want her to die.” I would really prefer if she didn’t die, Alask said, his voice strained. Shez was unpredictable. Shez looked at the woman. She wasn’t a threat, but he felt so angry. But for the first time since his creation, he knew she didn’t have to die for him being angry, as much as he felt he had to. Just how he had killed those Alleyzon employees. Looking at Lena, Shez stilled, shaking his head. Food, he didn’t eat, Alask ate. 2

Alask sometimes controlled him, and sometimes not. She waited until he had made his mind up, and grinned when he shook his head. No food. Well that was to be expected. All around her people cheered on him, knew him and she set down her empty bucket. "They would love it, if you waved at them." She remarked and then tilted her head to the side, pondering if he understood that. But he had understood her earlier questions. "And could you tell Alask, that if want to keep his identity secret, he should keep back and you two should vanish in some dark place before changing bodies again." She lowered her voice, stepped closer to make sure nobody heard her words.

Internally, Alask saw that she was correct. Already, he could sense Shez’s hate diminishing, he wouldn’t to be in the middle of a crowd when the transformation happened. And she was right, they would love it if he waved at them. “What is a wave?” Shez asked him. “A greeting?” Yeah, Alask said. “Well, why are we greeting them if we are going to leave?” It’s also a goodbye, Alask said. You just raise your arm, and shake it. Shez nodded and looked at the people cheering. Uncertainly he raised his left arm high, and slowly shook it back and forth in a waving motion, the glowing red turning green. Some people laughed and waved back at the Shade. Shez just perched on all fours again, and like an animal sped incredibly quickly out of sight in an abandoned alleyway, where he transformed back to Alask. *^* “Miss?” Somebody asked Lena. They were neighbours from a building next to the Forge. They had also been cheering for Shez, and had seen Lena talk to the Shade though had not heard what she’d said. “Can you... talk to him?”

Smiling she handed the pancake over. She needed to stick around until tomorrow morning, see if the effects had slowly started by then. A light stomach ache at first. "I have to go, see you around." She excused herself and walked back to the forge, too the various things she had taken outside back with her. Alask would probably return soon and until then, she had seen a heart earlier. She could check if it was still working and then one of them needed to go to the supermarket. Edited May 28, 2019 by Sorana
Vargo Seldon he/him Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Unbeknownst to the cheering crowd, a dark figure had been watching from the rooftops. He had arrived just in time to see the last portion of the fight, though he knew not what had caused it. He had seen one combatant flee, and the other—a shade, apparently—wave to the crowd. He thought it was finally time to make an appearance. He stepped out onto the rooftop, and filled himself with the pure life of saiden. Earth and fire were the strengths of a man, though this particular one wasn't lacking in any other talents. He breathed in the air, noting each and every crisp quality it had. Siaden gave a man power, life, clarity, and the thrill of battle. Filling himself with it's bittersweet power, he channeled powerful flows of Earth into the ground. A large column of Earth rose into the air, reaching up to the building that the man was standing on. He nonchalantly stepped off onto the column, making an extremely dramatic stairway for himself down to the ground. He walked down as if he had all the time in the world, columns crashing back to Earth as he stepped off. But in truth, the strain of holding that much power was incredible. He was fighting a raging battle inside of himself. The relief may not have been plain on his face when he stepped off, but it was there nonetheless. He walked forwards and held out a hand to the pancake lady. From this angle, one could see that he was incredibly... short. Still, he held himself in such a position of strength that one couldn't help but feel dominated by him. He held out a hand and introduced himself, "I, am Lord Moerevron. Or just Galvris. You should probably just call me Galvris." He suddenly looked quite abashed. He looked around and asked, "Where's Loanin? Alask? What happened to Nekorb?" He shook his head, "It's been too long since I've been here." Quote Thought it would be appropriate to reintroduce Galvris here, since this was the first place I put him in era 2. @Sorana

Lena is Lena Lena looked up when she saw a man step into the forge. He extended a hand for her to shake, while telling her a long and complicated name she forgot almost immediatly. But as he repeated his first name twice, that one stuck. She shook his hand, tried to place his face. Maybe she'd seen him, when she brought Alask and Nekorb their share? Maybe. "Lena." Looking him up and down, she wondered if he always held himself as if he had a stick in his backside. Stiff and serious. Probably boring as well. "Alask will be back soon. Laonin is gone and we lost Nekorb at PlasmaCore. Warder is around here somewhere." She answered his question. "You don't happen to have the time to go to the supermarket and buy some food?" +Sorana she/her Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 (edited) Lena smiled at Warden. "Of course I do." She had several special pancakes left. One was harmless. She would only feel a bit dizzy the evening. Lena pulled it out and handed it over. Alask had made her promise to not poison his friends. As he didn't know Warden yet, she wasn't in that category. "But only a few. We need to go to the supermarket to buy something to cook with. Then I could prepare dinner. And make new pancakes." Quote Don't be angry. I really try to avoid poisoning other PCs, because it's rather lame if it happens so randomly, but I wrote somewhere, that she's out of normal pancakes... And the supermarket is only for logical reasons, we can handle that with a single post, or just state someone went there. But if that place hasn't been used for a year, there shouldn't be much useful food left. @Turtle373 Edited May 29, 2019 by Sorana
