Alberta can't leave, however much they want. The First Nations would likely secede and rejoin Canada as the treaties would be broken. Also, 80% of Canadians would attempt to block Alberta and Quebec from leaving. (Tho Quebec seems to have decided Canada is nice and has calmed down). And only 16% of Albertans are secessionists.
