There are places where you have to wear a mask (stores, airplanes...)

But anywhere else it’s not really necessary where I live there’s not a mask mandate and almost everyone I know is vaccinated and not high risk

Theres no reason to wear a mask in that scenario

This is sort of irrelevant but my brain led me from this post to this fact anyways: in Norse mythology, Laevateinn is a weapon (commentators & translators don't agree on the type of weapon) crafted by Loki, and one of the translations of the name is "damage twig." Therefore, stick has been powerful for millenia.
