yeah fine, but the non-canon duel challenge still stands! (it's fun!) also I'd wanna know the mods' opinions, since we currently have no way to gauge how powerful Ioc is without a character sheet, and he seems pretty damnation powerful from the things he's displayed, sorry man

"Yes, that's what it means."
She answered the man, while she helped him carry Araha to her room.
"Do you think she will be allright? Or should we fetch a medic or something like that?"

Ran responded: "She will be alright. We'll need some stormlight, just a little though, too much and we'll have the same problem when it runs out." Finally they arrived at the room and Ran flitted through the keyhole, and with a bit of effort, unlocked the door, letting them in.

Damaya nodded. that was something she knew very well.
"What is that steel pushing you mentioned ealier? And I'm called Damaya, sorry I forgot to introduce myself."
she asked the man, while they carried Araha the last meters.

Ran was worried about Araha, but she was in good company. She was going to be alright. Ran took her default form of a woman bowed low toward the duo, a ChayShan-style salute to express her gratitude. "Thank you for the help. She'll just need some spheres with stormlight, one or two ought to do it." She realized that she was just repeating herself. "I... repeated myself. Apologies." She nodded and floated over beside Araha, watching over her.

Kaladin had only the Full and Reverse Lashings, up until saying the third Ideal. Then, upon swearing the second Ideal, Kaladin was able to harness and use Stormlight better.

Dayne left Araha on the bed and turned to Damaya"you know metal allomantic Magic, I can show you, if you have some steel" said while tacking out a lime out from his pocket" some water would also help"

Damaya placed two spheres next to Arahas head.
"I think we can find some steel here. Somewhere. I've never seen anybody use this allomantic magic before."

"is not that awesome, well it's awesome when I do it, but that's because i'm awesome" he walked to the door" should we leave her here?"

"Well Ran said, she will be allright."
Damaya turned to the Spren.
"Will you fetch us if she needs something?"

She followed the man out of the room.
"Who are you, by the way."

"My name is dayne at your service" he said while doing a perfectly done reverence but quite exagerated, as he was just joking with her" and you? Who are you?" He asked her as he began walking"do you know where everything is stored?"

15 million? Wow, that's a lot. Depending on the explosive, it would explode instantly under that amount of pressure.

My opinion on the matter is that Gancho made up the bomb, so there's a lot less restrictions on what he can do with it, given that it didn't effect anyone, which it didn't. If he tried doing it to someone in a duel or situation where other people are involved/majorly effected, I'd call that OP, but in this case there was no harm done. If it's in the name of humour, and can be written off as hyperbole if referenced as precedent, I'm fine with it. Sometimes science and laws can be glazed over if it makes for a good story. Sometimes.

As for Gancho's chart, I, personally, don't need to see it. It would make an interesting addition to the wiki or his bio, but unless I end up mediating a duel with him in it, it's none of my business. He seems to be doing a pretty good job of using his power in order.

Clay watched in astonishment as the bomb flew away. "Not how I would have done it," he said, still sounding slightly awed.

"I didn't see who planted it here. I'm not getting any feelings, so it probably wasn't the butler. I will note, however, that Yzabet has been suspiciously absent recently." He waved his hands dramatically to illustrate his point, and to steal the dun spheres from the counter. "Think about it. She had the opportunity. And maybe the means. But no motive. Hmmm."

He handed the spheres to Mr. Amber as payment, then helped himself to one of his chocolate bars. "It's a real mystery. These kind of things usually end badly for minor characters, so I'm going to avoid the investigation at all costs. Yup, I'll just sit here eating this delicious chocolate, completely unthreatening."

"I'm Damaya. I'm from the Alleycity, but sometimes I spent a few days up here."
She walked over to the stranger who was looking after the Waystop in Yzabets absence.
"I do now where everything is stored, but I won't take anything without asking. And with steel it's a bit more complicated. I mean, there are some pans of course?"

"Hello."
she greeted Mr Amber and smiled.
"My name is Damaya. I have two questions and I hope you can help me. The first one is: what work can I do to pay for something to eat and for a room? I usually help cleaning or cooking and I know my way around. But I'll do others things as well, as long as it's honest work. The other one concerns the man over there: He's looking for steel. Do you know where we could get something for him to use?"

Astiel Tekiel walked out of the waystop, halfway down the mountain he uncovered a secret door with a symbol of a cat with blood-red fangs. He stepped into the underground compound.

"Listen up everyone! The Sheonar mission has failed! We move bases in a week! until then I want double security and patrols every 10 minutes!"

A knock was heard on the door

Ara woke up to the sounds of flapping from outside, she saw a steady stream of quick-moving shadows dart past her window in the night sky, she couldn't see what was going on, but she could her the frightening sounds. The door to her room burst open and she yelped in surprise. It was her mother.

"Ara, dear, we're going to go somewhere tonight, okay?" Her mother said, voice shaky but brave.

"I'm... I'm scared, mom." The little girl replied, and her mother walked in, kneeling down to embrace her.

"It's okay to be scared, Ara. Come on now, let's get downstairs, your father has our things packed." Ara's mother held her hand and they both made their way down the stairs.

Ara ran ahead to the living room, she always felt safer when embracing her father. When she got there she did see her father. His strong features, in a face of determination and focus, zipping up the last of the bags. Ara ran to her father and hugged him tightly. "Dad, what's happening? Where are we going?"

"Shh, shh, it's alright, Ara. We just have to go somewhere and then we'll be alright, alright?" He said as he hugged her back. "Now come, we have to--" A scream resounded in another room, it wasn't like anything Ara's ever heard before, she ran to the other room and saw her mother standing there.

Covered in red.

Just standing motionless. "Mom?" Araha called out, her voice was deeper now, older. Her mother didn't respond, she just stood there. Araha approached the figure, "Mom?" she called out again as she touched the figure's shoulder.

Her 'mother' turned. Just a face, a face with red everywhere, the eyes, the cheeks.

Just red.

Araha woke up, gasping for air, but still lying on the bed. She felt something on her hand, like it was being held. It wasn't a moment later when she opened her heavy eyes and saw Ran by her side, she looked down and saw that it was her who was holding Araha's hand.

"How are you feeling?" Ran asked as she let go of Araha's hand.

"I'm..." she rasped, "surprisingly refreshed."

"Wonders of stormlight, Ara." Ran smiled, not in a mature, or cocky way like she usually did. Araha seldom saw her sincerely happy, or maybe just relieved. Araha smiled back, though she found that it was forced.

"Another nightmare?" Ran asked, her air of maturity and control returning.

"Yeah, not accurate, but..." she trailed off as the memories that she begun to remember tried slinking their way back to the surface, and Araha drowned them in the depths again, "but still scary."

Ran nodded wordlessly, holding her hand once again.

Araha sat up, seeing some dun spheres beside her. "So, what happened again? I don't remember passing out."

Ran smiled, "you shot the bomb into space. You don't remember that?"

"I... I did tha...? Tha'wasn't a dream?"

"No. You're a hero and I'm proud of you." Ran told her, her smile becoming warm and sincere again. Araha smiled back, her own was genuine this time.

"Hah... wow..." Araha's started to well up, "I did that." She muttered. Ran rubbed her thumb on Araha's hand before retracting it.

Araha then sniffed roughly, rubbing her eyes. "More importantly! I can surgebind now, does that mean we can finally talk about it?"

Ran shrugged in response, "we may, but you may get better information by talking with the Waystop's owner, even more than me."

Araha sighed. "Fiiiine." She got up and walked by the door, passing by the mirror in her room. There was something missing there: "Ran, hair clip mode, please?"

"I don't see the reason to, everyone likely already knows of your abilities."

"C'mon, I look cute with a hair clip."

Ran groaned then chuckled, forming into a hair clip and attaching as best she could to Araha's hair.

After a quick fix, she nodded and went back to the lobby in case something like that happened again. She saw Damaya around in the lobby beside her was a man she'd seen before, but didn't really know. "Hey, Damaya." She begun, "er... sorry for running off like that earlier, and for not finishing the food, and for not helping with the dishes! I'll make it up to you somehow!"

“What is he needing the steel for? Allomancy, Feruchemy, chemistry, alchemy, physics, defense? If he wants for Hemalurgy he must leave the premises as Hemalurgy is not permitted here. As for work, I can handle making the chocolate and running this, but with Yzabet gone I will need help cooking meals and non-chocolate desserts. Does that work for you?”

Damaya smiled at him:

"He told me its for steelpushing. And I was curious what that is. Cooking is perfect. Dinner is ready so I'll make sure its enough and then prepare the breakfast."

Damaya turned to Araha.

"It's all right. Your food is still in the dining room. I simply left it there."

Her smile changed, becoming sader.

"And you don't have to make up for it. It's not like you owe me something."

"Well, I guess not, but still!" Araha said with a shrug. "And um, I'll be right back!"

She made her way back to the dining room and ended up in the library. "Err, could you help me out a bit here, Ran?" She laughed, slightly embarrassed.

"We need to work on your directions." Ran replied, her voice sounding defeated. She turned into her ribbon form and lead Araha back to the dining room. The food was probably cold by now, and Araha loathed cold food, but it was good and she didn't want it to go to waste. She found her plate and finished the last few bites, and went to the kitchen area, which was near enough that she didn't get lost, and washed her plate. She'd have washed more but there wasn't really more to wash.

After that was done, she left the plates to dry, then made her way back to the lobby, with a little help from Ran. Once they were back, she turned back into a hair clip. Araha settled near Damaya on instinct. "We're back, just had to finish the meal so it didn't go to waste!" Araha said to no one in particular.

Damaya smiled at her.

"I have to work. I hope we have some time to talk later."

It was nice that Araha looked for her company and she felt guilty to leave her like that. But she had to work, otherwise she would have no place to sleep.

She went back to the kitchen and started to clean everything up. Afterwards she checked the remaining food and made sure that there was enough non-chocolate Dessert around.  She then started to prepare breakfast. It was quiet in the kitchen and she quickly lost herself to the work.
