Einladung Hospital

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"I'm an annoying large beast, so does that make me cheap?" Dan asked, genuinely curious. 

[ShadowLord_Lith he/him]

He blushed, grabbing his throat and keeling over, coughing like he'd just swallowed since water while breathing. Dan had ruined him, so this was his own fault. 

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"You're cute, hun," Dan said, licking the side of Shae's face. 

[ShadowLord_Lith he/him]

Shae glared at him, trying to stop the coughing as he lightly punched Dan's shoulder. "J-herk!" He gasped, trying to calm down. 

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

Dan leaned over and licked the inside of Shae's mouth when it was open. He didn't know how to fix coughing, so that might work. 

[ShadowLord_Lith he/him]

Shae choked slightly, blushing deeply and stiffening. He looked up at Dan. "Wh-what... what was that???" He looked utterly stunned. 

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"Coughing comes from your mouth and I wanted to fix it," Dan said. 

[ShadowLord_Lith he/him]

He blinked. "Y-you..." He breathed, calming himself and finishing off the coughs that Dan had strangled. "You think that kicking the inside of my mouth will fix coughing???" He was incredulous. The man acted so much like a dog that he just... couldn't care. He was fine with it.

Ambrosia looked at the marines. "We have dealt with them. The rogue group is no longer at large."

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"It comes from your lungs into your mouth, ergo, licking mouth will stifle problem," Dan said, holding his arm up to his face and licking the blood on it off. 

[ShadowLord_Lith he/him]

He stared. "Dan... has anyone ever told you that you have.... interesting ideas on what makes sense? You think so much like a dog..."

Ambrosia gave a harsh look to Dan. "And he's right. What's right for you might not be healthy for him. Let trained doctors take care of him, or you'll cause his death."

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"Everyone where I grew up either thought like a dog, a hawk, or a human, and I caught the dog sense," Dan said between licks. He checked over that arm, decided that it was good, then moved on to the other one. 

[ShadowLord_Lith he/him]

Shae shook his head, sighing. "What am I going to do with you...?"

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

Dan licked Shae's face again, ignoring the woman. "Pet me and love me."

[ShadowLord_Lith he/him]

He blushed. "I will... and don't worry miss. I'll keep him..." He hesitated, then chuckled. "... on a tight leash." He grinned, feeling surprisingly lighthearted. That had been funny compared to what he usually said.

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

Dan rolled his eyes and grinned at Shae. "Okay, that's fine."

She chuckled slightly. "Can I use sedatives? I need to perform some pretty painful operations."

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"But why?"

He blinked. "Sedate Dan? Will he get high? I'd love to see him like that..." He chuckled. "You have my permission to knock him out if you need too."

“I can arrange teleportation to your church,” the space marine said. “We’ll route it through the Invincible Reason and join the Deathwing when they go there. It should be more efficient than what you’re planning.”

“That’s what they want you to think,” he said. “At the very least, safety is more important than bravado at the moment.”

Shae looked at Dan. "Alright... what do you think?" He tilted his head, curious.

[Sherlock Holmes he/him]

"Whatever takes the least time and gets us back faster," Dan said.

He smiled at them. "Well... it sounds like, once this kind woman is done with Dan, we'll gladly take you up on your offer. Thank you, mr...?" He smiled.

The space marine looked at two of the terminators, nodding at them. They stepped closer to Shae, grabbing the hospital bed with their massive fist-weapons.

"Azrael," he said as wisps of light began to materialize in the air. "Call me-"

The searing light faded, and sanity slowly regained control of the world.

The room had changed. The hospital room was gone, replaced by a cavernous metal chamber filled to the brim with people. More space marines were present, most in bone-white armor, but there were far more normal humans rushing around them. The noise of grinding machinery and shouting serfs was deafening. Azrael, Shae, Dan, and Ambrosia were standing on a large circular platform that was currently venting Stormlight from its sides with a loud squeal. 

Azrael let out a breath, a trickle of too-bright blood running from his nose. He looked paler than before.

"I'm sorry about that," he said, wiping the blood away. "Teleportation can be… unreliable, at times. Less so in this universe, but fluctuations still occur. Time is of the essence here, and I assume that your operation can be performed at your headquarters. That's why I brought us here."
