Rebus grinned, very proud of himself. I don't know about Lady Bug, but if I were on the receiving end of the grin, I'd be running. "Of course. I don't need magic or technology to be a threat."

The grin was unsettling, but Symbol didn't mind. It wasn't for her. 
"Thank you for coming," she said with a little smile. "I was just about to drink this vial that will probably take my Thread awareness and maybe Narration and then go from there..."

Personally, Lady Bug thought Tam was rather judgmental and wondered if she realized how hard it was to keep this sort of thing consistent.
