She was so young . . . it was hard to watch her have to constantly deal with it. Evidently, she found some way to avoid it- though I'm not sure how.

I need a real Plotblade, not a quasi-Plotblade.

Plotblades are powerful. And they don't seem to quite fit with any of the currently established axes. Rebus, if you're trying to discover new axes and forms of magic, the Plotblades would be where to start.

Rebel darted forwards, pressing the advantage with another swing. “You cannot fight me.” 
“I do have one, which we can scan. Maybe it matches the theories, or maybe it prompts new ones. But if we want to experiment on one, we should use another. I know of Nonsense, though perhaps that blade is not the best for finding patterns.”

She dismissed the weapon. “That’s  what I get for taking Lady Bug’s Plotblade,” she muttered. She summoned a regular weapon, dark and streaming ash.
