"Now?" he whispered.

A sudden gust of wind blew past him, seeming almost to form a voice with its echoes. A voice that-ever so faintly-whispered yes.

Jacob exhaled a sigh and closed his eyes.

And the Witherlord ran him through from behind.

The Witherlord wore a satisfied smile as Jacob's body slumped to the ground.

In his other hand, the pen silently vanished.

Michael cocked his head. "Hmm... given the crystalline structure of the ice... with refinement, perhaps. I hadn't thought about it. The important thing is that he's not poisoned anymore!"

There was a ripple of reality in the air in front of Michael, like it was a pond someone had dropped a stone into. It resolved itself into a nondescript-looking pen.

Michael stared at the pen for a moment while his brain processed what he was seeing. His eyes widened.

"Oh..." he said hoarsely. "Oh, no..."

Nameless stared at the shield around the mountain. "If only I could get to that pen." He thought. Oh well, no use wishing for an impossibility. Even if he could get to the pen, the other narrators would never let him have it. Especially TVG.

Is there any way to make this image smaller? It's kind of obnoxiously big.

Embrace the size young one. (I have no idea how to do anything with pictures)

Nameless grabbed Bob and jumped over the edge of a cliff. He held Bob underneath him as he fell, aiming for the sharp rocks a hundred feet below them.

Sophie looked over at Michael, smiling happily. "What's wrong, Michael?"

Michael reached out and plucked the pen from midair, totally and completely lost for words.

Granite watched with confusion. "Does this happen a lot?"

"Does what happen a lot?" Sophie asked.

"Random objects just... appearing?"

"Nope, this is weird.

Granite shrugged. "Okay, then. Whatever."

Michael closed his eyes. "Show me," he whispered.

Nameless' astral projection answered back: "Michael is fine. Jacob is not fine. He might be dead." Nameless smiled. "Which means that I can break the fourth wall and get away with it more easily!" His astral projection dissipated.
