But no one listened to him.

Far away, TVG's eyebrows shot up. No one listened to Xinoehp, or so he had complained. Was he now trying to force his pain upon others? What a story...

Four snakelike creatures wound their way toward the location where TVG had unwisely manifested her avatar.

Stick walked to a tree that looked just a bit too average

‘Twas a very suspicious looking tree.

But in all reality, it was just a simple tree, living a simple life, with his simple tree family.

His name was even just “Simple McTreeton”.

[Jaywalk he/him]

When he saw Stick approaching with a chainsaw, Sir Simple McTreeton was very afraid.

Stick layered both of his empty hands on the most inconspicuously inconspicuous tree in the forest

But all of Stick's Horses and all of Stick's Men and all of whatever else Stick tried to use couldn't cut down Sir Simple McTreeton. 

Thus it was written, thus it was done.

It became tradition to godmod Stick.

There is a prophecy. 

"There's always a prophecy!"

Hush. This prophecy says that Stick will be unable to cut down that tree.

"Who are you?"

Stick’s palms press into the tree, and he senses the pulsing power within

He stole the power from the tree, leaving it dead.

The prophecy continues to be fufilled.

And thus the tree became undead. It was secretly a zombie tree all along!
