I need to pay more attention, he thinks to himself. Maybe I should talk to them. See if they can help. Skylight plasters a smile on his face, "Sorry, I'll talk to you later." He sighs to himself as he walks to the back of the room. Let's hope he actually has Mordite. This would be a waste of time if he just wanted money from these people. Skylight casually leans against the wall next to 9/10. "It was you speaking in my head, wasn't it." 12 hours ago, NameIess said: It can be tricky, since many Plotblades can be dismissed and summoned like Shardblades. Killing the wielder would work in most cases. People around the room reacted in shock to Ennalee's outburst. Some stood as if to offer help, while others merely edged away warily. Some few reached for weapons, hidden or otherwise. Alone among the crowd, the silent hero apparently ignored her, eyes focused on the door of the venue. Glyer's eyes narrowed in suspicion at Ennalee, but that expression vanished in a moment, replaced by one of mock concern. "Please," he called out, "could we all settle down? There is no need to panic." He gestured subtly to some of his aides. Several aides hurried to Ennalee. "Are you alright?" One asked softly. Glyer's expression darkened, and he lowered his microphone, leaning down towards Skylight. "Sir, if you could please return to your seat, I'd like to continue on with the seminar." He raised the microphone again, speaking to the rest of the room. "If everyone could please return to their seats, let's get things back on track." @ThatOneGuyOverThere @Through The Living Grass "Of course," Lyric said. "I remember the forest. And... before the forest." "Are you alright?" one of Glyer's assistants asked Ennalee. "I'm fine," Ennalee said, faintly annoyed. The reply must have come off sharper than she intended, however, because Glyer's assistant took a step back, their eyes widening. Ennalee immediately took on a kindly smile, softening her words. "Sorry. I mean, I'm quite alright, thank you for asking." She quickly shooed them away, all the while smiling. Once they were gone, she quickly pulled out her notebook. The seminar had started up again, but Ennalee barely heard a word. She was furiously scribbling down her thoughts. She hadn't missed the almost-but-not-quite glare Glyer had given her. And now, the man who had been talked to Glyer was talking to 9/10 in the back. Gun-Man was still sitting calmly, and didn't seen of too much concern, though she still held him in contempt. The last thoughts Ennalee jotted down were about her own experience. She examined her sword, noting silently that it was exactly the same as the one she had lost all those years ago. And that word. Narrator. Could... Could she be one? No, no, now wasn't the time for that. She quickly shoved those thoughts to the back of her mind. They didn't follow the Logic, and Logic was what she needed now. She was missing something. A piece of the puzzle. But whom to ask? Gun-Man, Glyer, or 9/10? Finally, she decided to talk to 9/10. She somewhat knew him, and could possibly glean some information from him. Though, admittedly, a part of her was outraged at how abruptly 9/10 had left her and wanted answers. Standing up, she unsheathed her sword and walked over to where 9/10 and the man were conversing.

It seems to be quite common these days, compared to other fundamental materials. I acquired some very early on and made a weapon of it, without much trouble. But I don’t think it would be worth much to you unless you feel like corrupting your soul.” He shrugged to Skylight, then turned back to Ennalee. “Apologies if I offended you by leaving earlier than you expected, but would you please forget about the sword? You’re probably going to hurt Skylight here if you try anything, and I’d rather avoid killing characters right now- the luxite would probably reject me at that.” He continued fiddling with the dark metal ring. Something about this seemed sketchy. Glyer looked more like a conman by the minute. Perhaps the information wasn't real. He thought. After all this time, the information that had given him hope could be unreliable. Anger rose in his chest. Just when he was about to stand and shoot the man, he stopped himself. Vlanis would wait. If that Plotblade was real, shooting Glyer might not be the best idea. He would have to be certain that Glyer wasn't a conman. He quietly backed away, hiding behind the building's corner and looking at the cloaked newcomer.

That body can teleport instantly to one of those projections at any time. The Outlier looked at the spot 9/10 was before. "That's the problem with you beings." He remained in the alleyway before checking around the corner at the cloaked man again. "You never do care." - Vlanis stood from his seat. He'd gained a clue, which was what mattered. He'd learn if the information was valid later. The seminar was sounding more like a swindle; he didn't trust the 'murderite' Glyers was showing. Time to go. Edited March 28 by ThatOneGuyOverThere

And does it have the same… murderous tendencies?” He frowned. “By which I mean, is it quite as aligned with Chaotic Darkness?” don’t remember if it’s Chaotic Dark or if they used the actual word destruction instead of dark "An excellent question!" Glyer exclaimed. "I can assure you that Murderite is just* as murderous as Mordite, and that Mordite was indeed used in its creation." He would likely have continued to expound Murderite's virtues, save for the door at the back of the room exploding inward and showering the audience with splinters of wood. "Glyer!" Boomed a cloaked figure wielding a black staff. "Where is the Mordite you were entrusted?" The figure pulled a dagger from his cloak which looked to be quite similar to those Glyer was attempting to sell, save that it seemed to be flaking away into dust. "You swore to deliver the Witherlord enough blades to equip an army. And all we have received are half-baked forgeries, which began dissolving immediately hence they were delivered!" Glyer flinched backwards, hand reaching for the blade at his side. He steadied himself, however, and managed to paste a smile on his face. "Why, have there been problems with the weapon quality? This is the first I've heard of it. I'll have to speak with my production team. Not to worry, but I will personally ensure all the issues are-" The cloaked figure slammed his staff onto the ground, tendrils of darkness rising all around him as he cut Glyer short. "Not good enough." He growled. "You shall return the Mordite forthwith, and come with me to answer to the Witherlord himself for your foolish attempt at deceit." He seemed to see the crowd for the first time, and paused. He raised his staff, seeming oddly hesitant. "As for the rest of you..." His voice sounded strained. "Hey, 9/10 and... Ennalee was it? You guys up for... WHY IS 9/10 PHASING THROUGH THE WALL?" He paused and turned to Ennalee "Does he, do this often?" 1 hour ago, NameIess said: "An excellent question!" Glyer exclaimed. The man who had been talking to 9/10- Skylight, she thought- asked. Ennalee smiled grimly. "It seems so. The first time we met, he left unexpectedly as well." Voicing the words made it easier for Ennalee herself to believe, that it was simply 9/10's character, rather than some fault of her own, that had made him leave her. All of a sudden, a man quite literally burst into the room, shattering the back door. Ennalee immediately unsheathed her sword, the old habit coming back to her quickly. The man was cloaked, and gripped a black staff in his right hand. He seemed focused on Glyer, which gave Ennalee pause. Glyer and the man had a short- though rather loud- conversation, if you could even call it that. Ennalee would have called it more of a argument, or really, a threat. Suddenly, the man turned, noticing the crowd for the first time. Raising his staff, he proclaimed, "As for the rest of you... You shall pay the price.. for... associating with this knave." This... is not good. Ennalee thought her eyes flicking around the room. Some poor soul had been consumed by a fire that had spurted from the cloaked man's staff. No, no, focus. She needed a way out. The back door was clearly out. The cloaked man was standing rather close to it, and that made her wary. Had Glyer really been selling weapons to the Witherlord? Goodness, her thoughts did wander. Now, a way out... She couldn't think straight. Terror seemed to numb her. She couldn't remember where the other exits were. She had jotted them down in her notebook, but she didn't have the time to look. She needed to get out of here, however. Turning towards Skylight, she offered her hand. "I'm Ennalee, in case you were wondering. Now, are you willing to work with me to find a way out?" Sorry guys, I'll normally be way better about posting here. The last few days have just been really hectic.

"Note to self: seminars about god-slaying are probably not reliable." Time to get out.
