Spoiler The presence of Inkwell’s mind had been like a constant hum, a song that had played over 9/10’s entire existence. Finding itself here, in this hallway… it was deeply unsettled. It could not see the Thread. All he could see was doors. The darker doors seemed like a great way to meet probably ancient evil. The doors emanating light brought back a memory of something before- inherited from another existence. Hiding in a closet, footsteps and shadows shining under yet another door. It moved on. One door was askew, shedding neither light or darkness. Safe enough. It approached, and slipped sideways through the opening.
