"Ivisyre is... weird. Sequence, Fuzzy, Cardinal, and Ivisyre were split off from some destructive being of unknown power. While Sequence is a Narrator, Ivisyre has shown powers that seem aligned with Chaotic darkness, and is at least comparable to an unaided Narrator, potentially even stronger considering that Sequence could only manage a tie, even with Conflict. "Huh. I didn't know about those things before eating that narrativium. Weird.

Subversion felt another one of those odd guilty twinges again. Stupid conscience. “Yes, but perhaps after your business with Sequence is concluded, yes?”

Yep! Generally they’re found on a quest, but you can also just pop a character into the story with a Plotblade.

“Well… If you don’t give us the information we need… I’m afraid I won’t be able to convince my friend here to let you go…” Sequence glanced at Unintelligible.

"I want something on Sequence's world as well, and I might as well tag along with you There. Cadewyn here may look a bit scrawny, but I assure you he is not. And he has... Other abilities. He is going with me to help me, and cause I think I can make my author leave me be for a bit if I help get this guy moved forward with his goal." Ryver shrugged nonchalantly, "And I might as well tag along with you for that." 

Eepy looked at Ivisyre. "Wow! They looks sleazy." she sneezed a bout of flame.

Oh, a lot more. Think about it this way, my Narrationblade is a manifestation of some of the Chaotic light within my soul. And it is made of the purest Narrativium you'll find just about anywhere. Unless you were to rip out a Narrator's Core, I suppose.

Oh, a lot more. Think about it this way, my Narrationblade is a manifestation of some of the Chaotic light within my soul. And it is made of the purest Narrativium you'll find just about anywhere. Unless you were to rip out a Narrator's Core, I suppose.

Of course they can. But I doubt Sequence would win a rematch, if that's what you're asking. She's too wounded from her last encounter with Ivisyre. As for more combat oriented Narrators... well, just about any Narrator is more prone to combat than Sequence, but Conflict provides a serious edge. Still, if you know any Narrators that are willing to help Sequence, I'm sure it would help in your confrontation.

"Oh, and I doubt Ivisyre has bonded a withergeist. As I said, Ivi has always had strange powers related to darkness. As for whether I will aid you... Perhaps. Perhaps you will not even need my aid. He dropped the act of nonchalance instantly, looking around for Sequence. "Sequence!? Where are you? I have some bad news for you I'm afraid."

Sequence looked up from where she was crouched next to the rabbit's cage, spotting Ryver quickly. She smiled, standing up and clasping her hands together. "Ryver! Lovely to see you again! Ooh, and I see you've brought a guest?" She barely seemed to acknowledge the mention of bad news.

"Also, Someone is trying to come here to kill you and I may have gotten myself in a tad of trouble helping them. Where is Unintelligible?"

Sequence froze, the color leaving her face almost instantly and her eyes widening. She gently lifted her hand to gingerly touch the left side of her waist. "... They... They can't- ... I'm s-.. safe here..." She spoke slowly, her voice trembling as if she didn't quite believe the words she said.

"Hey, I think he's going to betray you." Subversion said, summoning her own chair and sitting down in it. "You have a backup plan for getting to Sequence's world?"

Unintelligible's face darkened immediately at the mention of Ivisyre. "I knew Everyone wouldn't have the sense to crawl off and die somewhere." His hand dropped to his side, where he wore a pair of revolvers. "What plan? And what did you do?"

"Yeah, sorry. I slipped in my conscience, in a desire to get back at my author for trying to make me a hero. Sorry. 

"He asked me to make some type of containment orb out of celestial Bronze. He paid me with a shard of Narritvium. I tried to foil him by working hairline cracks into the orb but he spotted it and fixed it. He then offered me the Plotblade Conflict to use the powers of a medallion given to me by Subversion in conjunction with the power given me by the Narrativium to open a portal to here so he could get here and kill Sequence, then give me Conflict." he nodded over toward where Cadewyn had gone, "I got a tip from my author when I ate the Narrativium to pick him up. He's another character of my author, and he can be very helpful, I think. He is not yet very Thread aware yet."

Ryver leaned in close to both of them. "Cadewyn, has a newish plotblade. The Plotblade of Resolution. It helps bring things to an end. He isn't aware of how it works yet, but would be willing to loan it to someone." He looked back to Unintelligible, "I heard from Subversion that you once faced an army of Withergiests and the Witherlord by yourself. I wished to give you a warning and offer my help before I let Ivisyre in. What do you say?"

Cadewyn walked out to the balcony with Eepy. Yes, this place did feel more energetic than where the turtle had been.
"Hey Cady?"
"Yeah?"
"Will that Sleazy looking guy try to hurt us?"
"Maybe. But I intend to prevent it." He rolled his shoulders, loosening them. "I'm not good for much, but I can destroy things." he slipped Eepy off his shoulder and onto the balcony rail. "And that goal of keeping you safe starts with a promise." He took a deep breath. 
"Eepy. I care for you. I love you. I want to keep you safe." his voice cracked a bit, "I... I have almost lost a little sister before. And I did horrible things to get her back. This time I want to do things the right way: by never losing someone. I want to keep you safe. You are like a sister to me. You're whole family was killed." Eepy flinched at this. It hadn't been long. "So." Cadewyn took a deep breath again, trying to settle his heart. "Will you take me as your brother? Will you let me guard you, and protect you?"

Eepy stood rock still. He waited. He waited and sweat. He waited and screamed inside.

"Yes." She clambered up his coat again and licked his face. "yes I will, Cadewyn."

and fire consumed them.

 

Blue fire swirled up around him and bathed him. Clouds gathered overhead and and crackled with lightening. 
Fire and Storm. That was what made up dragons. Fire and Storm, air and fire, Flight and Hope. 

The fire raged, but did not burn. The wind swirled, but did not destroy. 

Lighting crashed down, striking him. Lightning and fire in a rainbow of colors. Eepy clung to him in the maltstrom, staring wide eyed at it all. 
He turned his face up and opened his arms to the sides. And it went into him; the fire and lightning. The swept into him and took up and place in his soul. 

"Well. That wasn't so bad. Eepy blinked and hopped down. "Was it Cady?"
Cadewyn fell to his knees and screamed, as his body then changed. Scales climbed out from his chest, from his heart and flowed over his torso, covering his body. His chest, his back, his upper arms. His back screamed in pain and wings ripped out of it, growing obscenely fast. Huge bat-like Dragon wings. Red like the scales, red like a flame. His left eye glowed a bright blue, pale and bright as the summer sky, with a slit pupil and a black sclera. His clothes --strangely-- did not tear, but formed around his body's new appendages. And he passed out, next to the railing. Exhausted.
