A story!” Ivy snapped their fingers, and Able promptly spun on his heel and walked away down the path. “While my associate retrieves the blueprint,” Ivy said, sitting up straight in their chair. “I will tell you a story.” Ivy cleared their throat. Quote “Once upon a time, some twenty-two thousand pages ago, a dark stranger visited the home of a brilliant tinkerer. This tinkerer was very skilled, and had an affinity with crows. Yes, the bird. In the warm home of the tinkerer, the dark stranger asked him for his services. They asked for a device, a small orb, that could store their power. This power was an unstable, dark energy, incredibly useful and powerful. While reluctant to make such a dangerous device, the tinkerer was offered a very valuable medallion. And so, he got to work. He was quite skilled not only in tinkering, but also time dilation. It’s quite impressive, really, he managed to slow time around himself, so that while mere moments passed for the stranger, the tinkerer had all the time he needed to create the device. He called it, ‘The Cuberian Cell’. It was beautiful, crafted expertly from Celestial Bronze. So, the stranger took their device, and made great use of it for many pages, until eventually, they handed it over to another craftsmen, who used its construction and properties to build another device.” Ivy clasped their hands together with a smile as Able returned, handing Ryver a detailed blueprint for a bronze sphere about the size of a baseball. ”So,” Ivy said. “Can it be done?”

In fact, I can do better. I can give you the means to transport yourself anywhere you should wish as well.” Ivy produced a jagged shard of shimmering white metal with a slight mother-of-pearl quality to it. It was small, about the length of a peanut. “This is a shard of Narrativium. It’s small, unfortunately, so ingesting it will only grant you the ability to transport yourself anywhere. You don’t need to ask how to use it, as when the power becomes yours, you will know how. It will be as natural as if you were a Narrator yourself.” They tucked it into their pocket. “It will be yours, once the conjuring is complete.” Able handed Ryver a small bar of Celestial Bronze. ”As for what Narrators are, well, imagine them as children playing a game in a sandbox. They can do anything within this sandbox that is our Thread, but they’re not allowed to leave. While they have nearly unlimited power within, they have none outside. Anything they do can be undone by another Narrator, and the narration of one Narrator is only as powerful as the other Narrators allow it to be. You could also think of the Thread as a story that the Narrators are telling. A book that they’re reading from, except instead of reading what’s already written, they write the story as they go. A physical manifestation of their Author, perhaps. In some cases. Though, I will admit that I find the concept of Authors to be confusing.” Ivy smiled. “Anything else you wish to know?”

(Idk why rebus became my obsession to draw but he is now. And im sure he loves the attention.) ok so the idea is. Theres this song and roughly (dont quote me on this ok.) translated to English it would be. ”you are evil, evil, evil, so evil. Damn you for rotting so beautifully inside your selfish heart.” then the other part which idk if it is a symbol thing. Like idk what her view on everything rebus is doing for her is. Like whether or not she would like it so this part would either be her to just stay rebus. “Listen, listen, listen, listen to me, (listen please??), please hold me gently, hold me gently, hold me gently.” p.s. it sounds better in Japanese which is the original language. Anyways i thought that a lot of that (not all of it) applied to rebus and overall I have a cool animation idea for it that has been sitting in my head for way to long and now im glad i get to blab about it. And the vibe of the sing just fits rebus overall and whatnot. Even if the lyrics dont.

I was told that one of your characters is... on a quest for meaning, and one of my characters is able to provide meaning. Jack (the mechanical man from kind of a while ago at this point) and Lyric (a strange man from the woods that allegedly contain the fountain of youth, who is played my NameIess), have gone to a creepy abandoned mall because there’s allegedly a guy who can teach you the meaning of life there. Jack is scared out of his wits by a number of things, such as the warnings written in blood that the sage’s wisdom is a trap, while Lyric is consumed by enthusiasm and dramatic irony. On 11/8/2025 at 8:16 PM, Hawks said: He shook his head. “Im sure i will find a use for the both of them soon enough.” He says almost innocently, and tipped his head to the side. OOOOOH OOOO IDEA ok i think i can do that. “And as for myself?” Rebus asked. “I’m sure I could be of great use to you, and having someone try to manipulate me into doing something would be a welcome challenge.” Great! Rebus does love the attention - one of his longest-term goals is to get other people to write fan-fiction of him so he can escape my head. Those first lyrics seem quite on-brand, actually. If you want to do the animation, I’m definitely not complaining. I’ve found a number of fitting songs myself - “lately, I find when I look into the mirror… there's a stranger staring back and smiling ear to ear” (My Own Monster, by X Ambassadors, for reference) is unfortunately too long for a member title. But eventually, he will be indivisible." “I’m interested to see the implementation of that - your Author uses science in very interesting ways.” I’m not certain I’ve seen the tunneling in ordinary space yet. My imagined version is thus: Sandy walked into a wall. Nothing happened - it hurt a little bit. Sandy backed up, and walked into the wall again. Nothing happened. Sandy walked into the wall again, and found himself on the other side. 20 hours ago, NameIess said: "Those men right there, at the kiosk." Lyric walked confidently through the darkness, though he did so in a strange gait, often pausing or stepping to the side, as if avoiding invisible obstacles. "I believe it's some kind of a welcome desk." "Tempting." Malevolence murmured. "There was a time I would have accepted this offer without regret. Antagonist holds allure even now that I see it for what it truly is; a pathway to great power, not a pathway to greater evil." His violet eyes narrowed. "I cannot accept this offer as stated. To give you the chance to return the Witherlord would be to give you the chance to destroy all of TLT, and everything I have worked for. You are a fool to think yourself capable of controlling that... power. Even I would not be up to such a task." He chuckled. "It may surprise you, but in this regard I hold no false pride. If I were to take up the power of the Witherlord, the darkness would utterly overwhelm my willpower. I would be... transformed. My careful plans... my wish to rule this Thread... even my ideals of Evil would be swept away. Gone, consumed in a Darkness too great for any mortal to truly comprehend." Malevolence paused, giving time for his words to sink in. "Of course, you will not listen. And so I must now oppose the Antagonist himself." He chuckled again. "I could, perhaps, accept the first part of your deal. If you give me access to your plans, I would be willing to continue those of them I find worthy upon your death, in exchange for Antagonist." Jack tried to copy him - the man seemed to know things, even if he also seemed oblivious to perfectly obvious danger - and nearly fell on his face. “I really hope they’re welcoming.” he muttered, giving up and walking normally. - “Perhaps I am a fool, then. But I suspect you’ve underestimated my preparations - because I do not need to control the Witherlord, I merely need to know what it will do.” There was a light in Rebus’s eyes - an alarming blend of cunning and conviction somewhere between genius and madness. “I will con myself - for Antagonist brings an inevitable downfall, should Protagonist arise. I am unaffected by the hubris it brings-“ Rebus appeared not to notice the hypocrisy of that statement, given his ability to even speak it. “-but should I need to resist a second force on my personality I will be unable to counteract the Blade, allowing me to undermine my own plans and bring about one of the outcomes I desire.” Rebus spread his arms wide, a grin on his face. Then he snapped back to the expression he had begun the conversation with - the polite smile with an edge of eagerness - and continued talking calmly as if he hadn’t dramatically declared his frankly ludicrous plan. “Regardless of my own desires, I literally cannot stop trying to do this without incurring dire consequences. I truly don’t know what will happen should I break my Word, and Fate is not someone I want to break a contract with.” Rebus tossed the orb containing his plans from one hand to the other. “Your opposition I would welcome - your string of betrayals from so long ago was truly impressive, and I have been seeking someone to match wits with. As for our deal, you’ve severely reduced how much it would benefit me - as much as you wish to rule the Thread, I am not certain you care about its activity level. And you certainly do not care about Symbol or the spread of my variants. We may both be evil, but evilness is broad and vague - I have chosen to become a villain to benefit the Thread, whereas you have chosen to benefit the Thread to further your villainy.” 2

While they appeared human with rather indistinguishable gender, their skin was too pale, and their eyes… Crimson and hard, and not to mention their teeth. Ivy nodded. “It will be done. “Anything else you wish to know?” Sorry this took me so long to get back too! Ryver's eyes lingered on that metal for a moment. There was something... terrifyingly similar looking about it. The name his Author had given him rang in his head, "Nikkō." he shivered. Those Narrators sounded an awful lot like some very ancient myths from his home. "Alright. I'll do it." he took the bar of bronze and the blueprints and started drawing what was shown into the Bronze with his inkless pen. Except instead of the drawing going into the Bronze, the Bronze went into the drawing, forming in the air. 1

For the latter, I agree, 18142 has a starships powered by spacetime curvature." At his current power level, Sandy briefly enters 10 dimensions, almost fully becoming a quantum particle, waits for some femtoseconds until quantum tunneling moves him the direction he wants to go, becomes 3D again (but using a completely different slice of 10D reality), then repeats. Though he can nudge the effects slightly to make it more likely that he's taken in the direction he wants to. Doing this does has permanent effects, and he's reached the point where he can no longer truly return to 3D, and is now a 4D being, though he's really thin in the fourth direction. He doesn't like interacting with humans much anymore (he hasn't shown up in any thread in a long time) because he can hurt to look at and has devoted himself to helping the Trisolarans. This will only accelerate until he's stuck in 10D permanently. 1
