I am sorry. As I said, we are an unreliable bunch. And unfortunately, we do tend to draw a great deal of joy from the trials of our creations.

Now why would you think that? The Witherlord is not my creation. He is the child of Fate. Why would I seek other Authors to raise him? The voice seemed to subtly wink at the second voice.

Oh, we do. And yet, sometimes crying is... good. I am not a good one to ask about this. I have as yet never cried at one of my creation's deaths.

I wonder. The voice seems to drip with sarcasm.

Hah! Maturity has little to do with it, I think. More, my personality. I rarely kill my characters and still...  I still regret allowing Nameless to die. The voice sounded wistful. I truly enjoyed him, at the end. Despite the awkwardness with which I plowed through his arc, The brave adventurer was a joy to write. Still, I think this is more down to the individual, not just maturity.

I take it you will not be of the three?

"strange isnt it. How the world works. How pasts can mold the way a person sees. I mean. I know when I wrote the death of my character who has yet to be introduced. I cried."

I do not write much outside the Thread, I must admit. A few things, here and there. I take a poetry class this semester.

Of course. No need to hurry, there is yet time.

The voice spoke to everyone. Lovely talking to you all. Now, if you shall excuse me, I must go finish this post I've been making. Subversion's decision has been put on hold for long enough, and she deserves my undivided attention.

The (other) voice spoke out to the general Thread. I consider being one of the Three, and am as yet undecided. Make your arguments if you wish, for or against.

@Dragonheir you particularly may wish to argue for

WHATS ONE OF THE THREEEEE????

The Witherlord wouldn't have to kill any of your characters, necessarily.

I'm considering it because it would be quite interesting story, and admittedly Heir's (or at least Rebus's) arguments are intriguing

THANK THE GODS

I have had to write deaths of characters for my story and like damn it's emotionally taxing but needed for the plot.

"I would accept this." Malevolence said. "But will Bacon?"

"Well... Cricket, I can understand. I do feel bad for leaving before he got a proper weapon, and after he passed my trial too. Still, at least it does leave me an opportunity. And I suppose it was my Author's fault." The Dreamsmith nodded slowly. "I would like to see your craftsmanship. Forge something for me."

"Is it?" Said the Priest, voice suddenly icy calm. "You are, without a doubt, one of the most despicable men I have ever met." The gathered throng roared in assent. "You deny life and love, you murder, steal, destroy with abandon. I will never stand by and allow these things to stand." He strode forwards, carrying, as always, the book of Happy Endings. "I give you this one chance, Rebus. Repent. Turn from your evil ways, abandon your cursed Plotblade, and end your tyranny."

In a place absent of light, a voice spoke to two tempests.

"Are you willing?"

@TwinStorm

"For what?"
