And they died again. And again.

The speed and constant death is what caught the attention of the major players of the thread.

Freedom just wanted to die. They were tired, so tired. They thought their name was ironic. Their name was what they wanted.

Freedom wanted to be free. That's all they ever wanted. Why couldn't they get it?

Flower noticed the constant shifting of the life force and it broke her meditation. Her thoughts raced about what to do for how dare the world take from what this person the same thing it took from her. The ability to sleep. And not wake up. Flower stood and picked the direction that the distortion of life was coming from and walked. She had never walked faster than she did now.

Eventually, she reached an open plautau. The further in she got, the she started finding bloodstains with more and more frequency. Eventually, she reached the center. In the center, there is a scorched circle with multiple weapons and murderous devices, literally anything that could be used to kill a person.

And in the center of it all was Freedom. With all of the weapons inside their body and many more laying around him, they looked up at flower.

"Hello," they said weakly, their body dissolving then appearing rapidly, "Who are you?"

Freedom looked up at Cep. "Hello," they said weakly, "My name is Freedom. Ironically, that is the one thing I don't have." They stopped talking, and let the scenery speak for itself, still disappearing then reappearing rapidly.

Freedom paused. "It-it was a long time ago. I can... barely remember it now. I was a child, early in the days of this world. I woke up in a void, and a voice told me I was to be named Freedom. I now believe it to be some ancient god. But back then, I was new to this world. At that point, I fell asleep. After that, is literally history. I have been searching for a way to be truly free for so, so long."

They laugh. "This area is not where I am chained. I am chained to this mortal plane. Well, maybe not this one, but I am chained to the mortal planes. I can leave all I want, but I can never truly be free. This whole world is my prison, one I can never escape."

"I do not think that is in a 'place' as we understand it. I am not fully sure it is sentient either. I think it is a force of nature, one that is close to omnipotent, and yet distant from this world. All too distant."

"It is what it sounds like. When I 'die', my body disappears, then reincarnates fixed. I... have accepted it. I have been in this field for... I don't know how long. Last I checked, the Luxsprite civilization was just starting. Do you know what happened to that?"
