Good thing Shoe was not planning to drink anything.

He saw the assassin put the drink on the table and attacked.

The assassin shook a soda can, threw it at him, and ran away.

"Well, you must've fallen up! Or maybe your down is my up?"

Shoe didn't chase him, staying near Beosta to defend her.

Rebus decided the awareness test’s first leg was probably complete. A maze began to form from the floor. @Bird Furious

The ninja was sneakily mixing together caffeinated, alcoholic, hydrating, and carbonated drinks, and hiding it among the drinks already there. Such a concoction would ruin anyone’s ability to function.

Rebus mustered his best kind yet commanding voice. “Stop running. I don’t know what we’ve done, but it can be made up to you.”

Beosta was snoring.

The girl looked back, clearly terrified. She stumbled into a light pole and fell. Symbol ran to catch up with her. “Wait!”

The girl scrambled to her feet and kept running.

Sequence sighed, poofing another withergeist into mist with Conflict. "I suppose so... Well, it was nice seeing you again!"

Sequence studied Rebus for a moment, then nodded, satisfied. She dismissed Conflict and dusted off her dress, double checking her surroundings for withergeists.
"Very well. Oh, was there something you wanted to discuss with me? You approached me before the withergeist attack." Sequence sat down in a rocking chair which materialized beneath her, and gently lifted a steaming cup of tea from the small satchel at her side.

"You as well! I'm sorry our reunion was interrupted. Terribly rude, he was! Fortunately it didn't seem like he was intent on causing mischief." Bacon conjured a chair and sat down with a sigh. "Or perhaps unfortunately."
