Pyk hesitated. “I don’t know, but I do no that the Render tore the world apart to stop their fighting. That was the preferable alternative.”

"so dont take the crown off?"

He shrugged, pulling out 2 burritos and nuking them in the microwave. “Here, eat.”

Lisa was more interested in the microwave. "Waht's that?"

Her father pulled her away, eyeing the microwave warily. She shook him off, looking annoyed.

“Taste it. I’ll explain the microwave when you eat.”

She nibbled it, then made a face, but continued to eat politely.

Hey, Platypus, my chararcter is about to make a decision. The decision kinda revolves around you (the Author) and I would like your imput. I don't want to force you to do something you dont want to play so... My character is about to go back in time to get luxite and a luxsprite. You are one of the few oldest players on the thread, so it would be best if you played the luxsprite (warning it might die). The other option is that my character goes to your (Narrator? Luxsprite?) character and asks for some luxite and a luxsprite core. Perferably in that situation you would help us out. Which would you rather do? If you want niether, I can find someone else to play the Luxsprite. Thanks!

well... I can tell you it would be a terrible idea to go to Platypus about this, past or present. Honestly, I don't think I'm the best person to be the Luxsprite, but if you want me to, I'd be happy to. Fair warning, you will probably have to wait for a couple hours for each of my posts. You'll also need to quote/mention me in each post relating to that, because I pretty much only skim TLT besides the ones where I'm pinged/quoted.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know. I thought the technology was better down here..."

Alright. If you don't think you are right for the job, is there anyone better? I asked @Dragonheir and he said that you have been on almost the longest (and are still actually active on TLT).

"Bad," she admitted, blinking against the lights.

That... actually makes sense yeah. huh. Also, what Nullite discussion?

Thank you. I like to think my ideas are good, even if my communication isn’t.

"What just happened here?" Muin asked

Rebus grinned. “It worked. I made Ordered Chaos - the Light and Darkness bleed off as light and darkness, and the Ordered Chaos combines the Order and Chaos to make more. I’ve been thinking of it a bit like fire. You need fuel,” he put out a hand, and a sort of torch made from Nullite was teleported to it, “a plentiful material for it to react with,” he waved a hand, throwing off a stream of Narration, “and a spark - which you provided, and now I can keep burning.” He touched the torch to the experiment, and the reaction spread onto it, sucking up the Narration Rebus fed it and combining it with the Nullite. The surface turned grey, pockets of a lighter and a darker shade growing and shrinking as the Nullite “burned”, while wisps of glowing light or obscuring darkness rose off of it.

Symbol tilted her head at the process. "It looks like it went well. What do you call it?"

The outside of the castle and the surrounding hills were still dark and broken. She gestured with both of her arms and the ash vanished. Grass sprouted up all over the hills and around the palace. Hedges grew around the castle, along with several fountains.

“I have not decided yet. Ordered Chaos - or I suppose, Chaotic Order - is the scientific definition, but a name for the metal - and eventually, the being - is not something I have decided on. Emergence, fractals, paradoxes, counter-intuitive states, recursion, metaphorical burning, categories and patterns from randomness, seeming randomness from patterns, instability, emulsification, self-propagation… there’s a lot to work with, but nothing that comes to mind as first - most important, best to name it. We could name it with emergence, I suppose. Keep changing what we call it until one thing catches on.”

Well, if @Immortal Platypus gives me a more thorough explanation, I could do it. That’d also keep Rebus away, which I think many people would appreciate. I’m more active, and I think I can be fair and do it justice if I’m given the necessary context.
