The visit with Nowhere had been thoroughly unproductive. None of his ideas had worked. Combining using a third Essence as an emulsifier hadn't worked. Perhaps it would with other experiments (he suspected Narrativium would be the best for that), but it certainly didn't work with what he was trying to do. Eventually, he would find that balance where it would work. He was absolutely certain of that. Maybe... maybe that's what he needed to do. He would try that next.
