The liquid metal of the floor spread upwards along the man's legs, binding him more and more. Slowly, casually, Malevolence lifted his blade for the killing stroke. 2 hours ago, TwinStorm said: The Shade growled, seizing Endings and stabbing it towards Palsu. Palsu managed to force the shade's stab to the side, grunting with effort. Desperation growing on his face, he headbutted the shade.

And you're not some strange and celestial being with a vendetta against us. Night! I do live in a space station and, like many inventors, am rather strange, but why would I possibly have a vendetta? I’m worried about strange, capricious, magical, and terrestrial beings that might have vendettas against me! 10 hours ago, NameIess said: Nameless's form came into focus fully for the first time, revealing him to be a man with brown hair and blue eyes, although the eye color was hard to make out through the glow that now filled them. I think... I almost... have it. The Narration took on a definite shape, things that could be limbs moving in the difficult-to-explain space. Abruptly, Nameless gave a cry that was actually physical, the first sound he'd made since his activation. The energy exploded within Rebus's containment unit, leaving a liquid-like residue behind. Ah. Bother. I almost had it. I think I can explain the difficult-to-explain space: it’s like an alcove, but in the middle of the room, so it’s defined by a depression in the floor and ceiling, ringed by a slightly raised portion. Holographic notes appeared around Rebus, and Rebus himself grinned. “We got close; it was unlikely we’d succeed on the first time - story logic says it will likely be the third. And you did make something - I think that might be lightoil, or whatever they ended up calling it.”

Would you perhaps like some tea for the road? It does keep quite well on the shelf." Sequence offered a bag of tea leaves to the Ghost. 13 hours ago, NameIess said: Malevolence did not much want to have a tea party with the Machination. And the rabbits were... busy, anyways. No, there was one person in particular with whom Malevolence wished to have a tea party. He'd built an evil beacon just to attract her attention. @Sequence Sequence cocked her head to the side, as if listening to something. "What's..." She turned, looking out one of the windows of the castle. "Unintelligible," she said, not turning away. "Do you... hear something?" Edited February 24, 2025 by Sequence
