She couldn't help it anymore. She broke down sobbing and fell to the floor and watched them take him away.

She started screaming his name at one point, which took her a moment to realize because it didn't sound like her voice, all panicked and ragged.

She grabbed a needle and injected it into his arm, hoping he would pass out quickly. She let the doctors tend to him while she had guards move Starlight into the room with Five and Irie, lifting the divider. Veronica stood outside the room, watching momentarily. "You three get to stay together. We may throw Aden in eventually, but given he won't remember anything, it might be best to keep him secluded for the moment"

Starlight laid sprawled out on the floor, tears staining his face

She grabbed a needle and injected it into his arm, hoping he would pass out quickly. The Shade growled, seizing Endings and stabbing it towards Palsu.

They reappeared near a lake of sorts. Snow-capped mountains towered above the area, and the lake was surrounded by enormous trees.
